Beatfactory.....I worked the Toby Keith show (it was on a friday-the 13th) I worked on the floor aisle 1 at the gate that leads to the side of the stage (stage left facing the stage). I don't remember if Monnglow was there, I think she was. Did you go to the show? And parking is a big pain....they now put up signs that say NO CONCERT PARKING TOWING ENFORCED.......or something like that....at the mall. They wont even let you park near the movie theater. We have to park in the 'silver lot' and ride the shuttle, next time your at the pavilion you can do that too. Or park in one of the other 'colored' lots...green, orange, blue, white (a real long walk), yellow (also a long walk) and the silver (ride shuttle) and the gold lot (which is right next to the pavilion, we share it with the Marriott, parking there is $10 for concerts and $5 for symphonies)

Man! That is just wrong!! She went too far. What happened to just sitting in the corner or staying after school when you act up?!!

I think Phil really means that this his last tour...I heard from his merchandise guy that he only has about 5 or so shows left in the U.S and then he is going to take a year off and then go to Asia or something..... (don't think he will add any dates) Phil's merchandise guy said that Phil was going to continue to do music for Disney movies after he is done with touring (and that he has another child on the way!) Cher and Kiss.....wasn't Kiss supposed to have a farewell tour a few years ago?! And they are still out there on the road.....they were at the pavilion not too long ago...

Phil Collins was at the Toyota Center in Houston, TX on 9/5....Great show!! It was the "First Final Farwell" tour (and he means it!!) I was able to hear the show from where I was working...even had a chance to check some of it out...... Here is some of what he played (I wrote down the songs I knew)....not in order... AGAINST ALL ODDS TRUE COLORS GROOVY KIND OF LOVE BILLY (DON'T LOSE MY NUMBER) ONE MORE NIGHT MISSED AGAIN ANOTHER DAY IN PARADISE (this was a good one) IN THE AIR TONIGHT DANCE INTO THE LIGHT YOU CAN'T HURRY LOVE TWO HEARTS EASY LOVER YOU'LL BE IN MY HEART (from the movie Tarzan) SUSSUDIO (one of my favs) TAKE ME HOME (1 of 2 encore songs) I thought that "One More Night" sounded great. He had a good crowd, 11,000+. I have seen Phil three times now (worked two) and everytime has been great. He did come off the stage during "Sussudio", but only in the front row.

It just sucks that there is evil in this world :angry: I wonder now if we will EVER have peace on this planet! Horrible what happened...may they r.i.p.

I like the song 'White Rabbit....thats a cool song... While I was attending the Art Institute of Houston back in '95,'96, we had a video crew that tape something called PARTY ON THE PLAZA. It took place in the theater district every thursday in the summer (we didn't tape every show). We did tape Ironbutterfly, and they played that song "In a Garden of Eden" or whatever it is called.....anyway, I was working one of the camers set up in the crowd on a platform, they ended with that song, and I thought it WAS NEVER GOING TO END!!!!!!!!! I just set my camera on the guy playing keyboards at just stood there.

I saw "Without A Paddle"....not a very funny movie...it did have some funny bits in it though... "Paparazzi" looks like it might be a good movie....

On friday...worked a Houston Comets game (they lost 70-60 :( ) saturday...don't know yet...maybe sleep all day Sunday...working the Phil Collins concert at the Toyota Center in Houston,TX...can't wait for that show!! It'll be a good one.

I saw 'Unledded' when it came on Mtv and thought it was great... I will be getting the DVD when it comes out for sure!!

Last night (9/1) I was working a Houston Comets game (WNBA) and I had to work by the visiting team locker room and the guy I was working with started to sing CHRISTMAS songs!!!! I went home with those songs in my head!!

That was cool...(but now I think I am sea sick!!)

Why yes his name does start with an S...I heard that he pissed off someone with Linkin Park....he had made some smart a** remark, and the guy did not like that very much and told him off...I can't wait for the day he either gets fired for his mouth going off or he quits..... I almost went to Deep Purple, but didn't because of the storm.....I don't like driving in that stuff.....and I heard there was only 3,011 people.... I'm not at the pavilion until Sting...
