The sexual new promo for Showtime's hit series focuses on Dexter's dark passenger finally threatening to escape. But the line is blurred between which of the show's main characters will be hurt by Dexter's need to kill: the title serial killer, or his beloved sister Deb? Michael C. Hall and Jennifer Carpenter are going to have to be at the top of their game for season seven as their characters' relationship will be more strained than ever. We're excited to hear what they have to say and show about the new season at Comic-Con, but for now we'll just have to assume that Dexter is going to have some difficulties keeping his dark passenger under control. The theme of the promos we've seen for "Dexter's" seventh season have been a duality between him and his sister Deb. That could have a number of implications, but we hope that it means she will cope with his murderous tendencies and maybe go on some kills with him like Julia Stiles's character did a couple years back... though we doubt "Dexter" will go in that direction again. Despite the fact Hall and Carpenter used to be married in real life, we still don't know how we feel about these two getting their groove on in the show. (Whatever, they aren't blood related, but still). Depp usually plays his characters very big and steals the show in even his ensemble movies, but he'll have to tone it down a few notches for an Anderson project. Also we can't get over the idea of him and Murray acting opposite one another in a movie. Also new to the fold are Law, Dafoe and Lansbury, but all of those seem like perfect fits for an Anderson movie. We're just happy to see that Wilson, Brody and Goldblum are back for more, and that Norton (who we adored in "Moonrise") made the cut and has been asked back as well. By Gil Kaufman Frank Ocean suddenly released his Channel Orange album last night, one week earlier than its original July 17 release date, and he also took the stage on "Late Night With Jimmy Fallon," for his first performance after opening up about his sexuality. Playing your broadcast television debut is a big deal for any artist. But add on the pressure of stepping up to the mic less than a week after making a potentially career-altering revelation about your relationship history and you can imagine the gravity weighing on new soul virtuoso Frank Ocean when he performed on "Late Night With Jimmy Fallon" on Monday. Just a week ago, Ocean shared an emotional letter with fans in which he discussed the details of his same-sex first love?. The revelation led to an outpouring of support from Beyoncé, Russell Simmons and fellow Odd Future member Tyler, the Creator?. And on Monday a confident, strong-voiced Ocean didn't shy away from the elephant in the room, performing his new single "Bad Religion," which features lyrics about the unrequited love of a man. Wearing a red and white bandana, jeans, a white T-shirt and maroon and black button down, Ocean was backed by a string section and haunting gothic keyboards as he unveiled the tale of a love confessional to a taxi driver. "Taxi driver, you're my shrink for the hour," the soft-spoken crooner sang as he moved between looking out at the audience and casting his eyes down. "Leave the meter running/ It's rush hour, so take the streets if you wanna/ Just outrun the demons, could you?" After begging the driver not to curse him, Ocean steeled his nerves and added, "If it brings me to my knees/ It's a bad religion," as the strings swelled behind him. Mixing clear falsetto with his strong tenor voice, Ocean moved confidently into the chorus of the hymn-like song, "This unrequited love/ To me it's nothing but a one-man cult/ And cyanide in my Styrofoam cup/ I could never make him love me/ Never make him love me." As if revisiting the pain, he repeated the phrase "love me" several times before dropping his head and unleashing a series of high-pitched "whooo hoo" chants. By the second verse, the audience began a slow clap along to the song's funereal beat as Roots drummer ?uestlove added in a dirge-like marching drum snare roll. The song ended with a dramatic classical flair from the string section as Ocean stood center stage with his head down before breaking into a wide grin. Channel Orange is slated to hit stores next Tuesday, but it dropped a week earlier on iTunes following the performance, where it immediately shot to the #1 spot on the download site's album chart. Ultimately, we were not able to agree on how to move forward and, as such, stopped accepting new customers through PayPal in early June,” Mediafire co-founder Tom Langridge told TorrentFreak. MediaFire sees PayPal’s recent actions as a direct consequence of the Megaupload shutdown. “I think it’s fair to say that because of PayPal’s business model, it got burned by the sudden shutdown of Megaupload,” Langridge says. However, unlike some other file-hosters, MediaFire was fortunate enough to be able to prepare for the switch. “We have been planning for this change for some time so the impact to new and future customers is negligible. By James Montgomery The remaining members of Run-DMC, Joseph "Run" Simmons and Darryl "DMC" McDaniels will reunite for their first performance in almost 10 years, at the Fun Fun Fun Fest, which will be held in Austin Texas, from November 2-4. Simmons and McDaniels officially retired the Run-DMC moniker in November 2002, just days after founding member Jason "Jam Master Jay" Mizell was shot and killed in his Queens recording studio. Ten years later, his death remains unsolved, and in the decade since, the relationship between the two surviving members became strained. They famously decided against performing as Run-DMC when the group was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2009. But in a show of solidarity — and as a way of marking the ten-year anniversary of Jay's murder — Simmons and McDaniels will not only headline the Fun Fun Fun main stage, but are working with organizers to donate a portion of the proceeds from the festival to the JMJ Foundation for Music, which is dedicated to providing access to the arts for children and young adults. Last year, DMC remembered his slain friend to MTV's RapFix blog, saying, "Jason made the deejay rock n' roll ... and he died where he grew up, trying to take his people to a better place." Raz B is recovering after surviving what he says was a near death experience. After wrapping a concert in Shanghai, China on Sunday the B2K singer was hanging in his hotel room, where he tripped and fell through a glass door, cutting his wrist. Raz told TMZ that he tried to break his fall after tripping, but instead crashed through a nearby glass door which severely damaged his wrist, destroying nerves, tendons and ligaments, exposing his bone. From here the singer says he passed out and when someone alerted hotel staff an ambulance arrived to take him away. When he arrived at Huashan Hospital Fudan University in Shanghai, he underwent surgery for 5 hours to repair his wrist and he was released on Monday. He has postponed his current tour dates in light of the accident. TMZ obtained photos of the singer in the hospital, but refrained from sharing one of the most gruesome images. It seems like that could be the new era Hollywood is ushering in, solely based on two of the biggest news stories to come out of the past two days. Hot off the news that [url="http://moviesblog.mtv.com/2012/07/09/assassins-creed-michael-fassbender/"]Michael Fassbender will be starring in and co-producing[/url] an "Assassin's Creed" movie, [url="http://www.comingsoon.net/news/gamenews.php?id=92375"]CBS Films[/url] has announced that they've secured the rights to Square Enix's 2011 hit "Deus Ex: Human Revolution." The stealth action RPG is both dystopian and sci-fi, meaning a feature film version of it should be perfectly at home in Tinseltown. The press release describes "Deus Ex: Human Revolution" as being the "primary template for the film," meaning the movie likely won't be a straight adaptation of the game. What it probably will take from the story are the human augmentation, espionage and ethical elements of the game that made it so well received last year. "Deus Ex: Human Revolution" is the third video game in the "Deus Ex" franchise, and acts as a prequel to the original 2000 title. It follows main character Adam Jensen as an ex-SWAT-turned-private security officer for Sarif Industries, a biotech company with an emphasis in human enhancements. After being brutally injured in an attack on the company, Jensen is forced to undergo extensive surgery to have many of his limbs replaced with artificially enhanced ones (think "RoboCop"). He can upgrade these as the game progresses, allowing him to sneak better, be stronger and hack more effectively. Thanks to his new lease on life, Jensen sets out to try to unravel what turns out to be a global consipiracy. The video game film genre is not one that's thrived in Hollywood, but with new "Resident Evil" and "Silent Hill" movies on their way and a lot of buzz surrounding the "Assassin's Creed" film, we'll guess that will change soon. Love and Hip Hop Atlanta By Sowmya Krishnamurthy Things got hot last night on "Love & Hip Hop Atlanta" as tensions simmered to an all-time high. We found out that Joseline is no longer pregnant after having an abortion, which she was escorted to by good ol' Stevie J. "I won't let him do this to me again," a tearful Joseline confesses. "I'm here for you. Don't cry," says the always calm and cool Stevie. The abortion doesn't assuage Mimi and she and Stevie have a verbal argument. "You always want to f--- bitches but you never want to handle s--- after the fact," says Mimi. "You can exit stage left!" The master of mind games, Stevie, doesn't even break a sweat (under his black vest without a shirt ensemble). Elsewhere in bad relationships, Scrappy is elated to move into his new bachelor pad and shares an awkward poolside rub down with his "best friend" Shay a.k.a. Bucky from "Flavor Of Love 2" and "Charm School" (Blast from the reality show past) while Erica tells her mother that despite their new found distance, "In the end, I'm going to have a ring." With no one to turn to, Stevie commiserates about his beleaguered relationship with Mimi with even more beleaguered rapper Benzino (Google "The Benzino Project" if you need a refresher on who this guy is). "You gotta clean your house up...It takes focus away from your music," Benzino advises his friend and tells him to fix his relationship with Mimi. "The word of the day is 'Monogamous,'" he urges. Is Benzino the new Dr. Drew? Now onto the main event! While at the studio with Joseline, Stevie gets into a huge throw down with Scrappy over his insults at Erica. Stevie apologizes and initially Scrappy appears calm, even logical. "The only time I ever heard of you was VH1 Behind the scenes [Music] with Eve," says Scrappy to Stevie. Another blast from the past we'd like to forget. Then everyone's favorite instigator Joseline jumps in and accuses Erica of sleeping with Stevie. All hell breaks loose in the A. Cue fighting, Scrappy getting a bloody grill and Stevie even apparently biting Scrappy. Entourages and hangers on have to break the two screaming parties apart and Stevie J and Joseline eventually drive away into the night. The girls have a recap of the fight and Erica says she needs a sit down with Joseline which can only mean more drama. Joseline cooks Stevie breakfast and the two lovebirds, er coworkers, talk things through. "I don't remember smashing her," says Stevie, stoking the fires. By Rob Markman On Wednesday, "RapFix Live" will be welcoming Prodigy.It was 2000 when the Mobb Deep rapper released his critically acclaimed solo debut, H.N.I.C., and now, 12 years later, he has completed the trilogy with his recently released H.N.I.C. 3. The album, which was released on Mobb Deep's own Infamous Records, features Wiz Khalifa and Prodigy's M-O-B-B partner Havoc as well as production from the Alchemist. During his May "RapFix" appearance, Prodigy said most of the material for H.N.I.C. 3 was written during his three-year incarceration stemming from a 2006 gun arrest. "The third one, I spent a lot of time working on it. I did my little bid, three years or whatever, and that's basically when I was writing most of this album," Prodigy explained. "So, I got to really take my time with the concepts, the lyrics, how I want it to be, be really precise with it and really come up with something that can last a long time." So, Kanye West made his debut on "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" last night. And if you were wondering how Kim reacted to her shout out on West's single "Cold," you finally get a chance to see. Kanye is pretty proud of himself for dedicating a line to Kardashian on "Cold," pointing to her in the audience while he rapped it during his Friday night show in Atlantic City, and Monday night's show confirms that his famous girlfriend is pretty smug about it as well. Watch the clip here When 'Ye released "Cold" (previously titled "Theraflu" and "Way Too Cold") back in April, his reference to the reality TV star triggered a firestorm on the Web. "And I'll admit I fell in love with Kim/ Around the same time she had fell in love with him," he rapped, alluding to Kim's failed marriage to Kris Humphries. The song premiered right around the time that photos of the pair began to surface, showing them holding hands and strolling to dinner dates together, but Kardashian tried to play coy about the situation, dodging questions about the song. Those days are long gone, though. Kanye West will appear on Monday night's (July 9) episode of "Keeping Up With the Kardashians," and fans will finally get to see Kim's reaction to the song. In a preview clip for the episode, Kim and Kourtney receive a call from their brother Rob, who can't wait to ask Kim about the track, especially since it came right after she was flour-bombed. Kim, in a poor attempt to play innocent, acts like it's no big deal, responding, "Yeah I've heard it so, what?" with a smirk on her face, before adding. "Just because I'm seen with someone, does it automatically mean that he's my boyfriend?" Apparently the answer is yes. The clip continues as Kourtney shares her limited two cents on the relationship, telling viewers, "Kim and Kanye have been friends for years, and they've been hanging out lately. And I have no idea if it's serious or not." Safe to say it's pretty serious at this point. The couple has been spotted all across North America and Europe over the past few weeks on their PDA tour, with Kim even joining Kanye in the front row next to Jay-Z and Beyonce at the BET Awards. In the episode Kanye also accompanies Kim to Scott Disick's restaurant opening and gets chummy with the family.
