  1. Joe Biden, the former vice president of the United States, is tired of Donald Trump's crap. On Sunday, Trump retweeted a GIF of himself hitting a golf ball into Hillary Clinton. (The user Trump retweeted, by the way, had posted anti-Semitic and anti-trans messages in the past.) SEE ALSO: Joe Biden's new book will make you nostalgic for simpler times Joe simply wasn't having it. So on Monday night, he tweeted out this: Just had the chance to see President Trump's golf swing tweet. Enough. This has to stop. Our children are watching. — Joe Biden (@JoeBiden) September 19, 2017 Sadly, I don't think Trump is going to listen. He was widely criticized for sharing a video of himself body-slamming CNN over the summer, and that didn't stop him from tweeting or making crude comments. Read more... 7. Moviegoers might not be in agreement about Darren Aronofsky's mother!, but polarization is a popular topic for conversation. The new thriller, which stars Jennifer Lawrence and Javier Bardem as a couple dealing with unwanted houseguests in their remote country home, received an F grade from opening night audiences polled by CinemaScore, but not everyone considers it to be a failure. In fact, while the the 14 releases with an F grade via CinemaScore have an unfortunate average Rotten Tomatoes score of 36%, mother! is on the positive end of the spectrum for the bunch with a 69% fresh rating from nearly 200 reviews. That's still a considerable spilt for critics, while ticket buyers have also been mixed on their reactions. To see just how divisive this... Read More View the full article
  8. Going into anaphylactic shock is terrifying. The last time I went into shock, called my mom first, injected myself with an Epi-Pen second, injected myself with a shot of epinephrine third, and 911 last. I had that a bit backwards. Had I been using Adan Medical‘s smart case for Epi-Pens, my mom and emergency response teams would’ve been notified the moment I opened the case. I… Read More View the full article

  11. Australia's marriage equality debate has sparked the attention of celebrities and major companies worldwide, including Ellen DeGeneres. Australians are currently in the midst of a non-binding, non-compulsory nationwide survey asking the question: “Should the law be changed to allow same-sex couples to marry?” Parliament can make the change now, but before it does, it's taking the country's temperature on the matter. Declaring her support for the 'Yes' vote to her casual 73.5 million Twitter followers, the dance-happy comedian posted a very sweet message on Monday, featuring her wife of nine years, Australian-American actor Portia de Rossi. 13. You're just an average consumer, trying to keep your expensive electronics free from malware. And so you, like many before you, decide to pony up and pay for some fancy antivirus software. But this isn't the '90s, and it turns out that you might just be being taken for a ride. Much has changed since the heyday of programs like Norton AntiVirus, and these days installing third-party software on your computer might actually do more harm than good. Figuring out the difference between vital protection and dangerous bloatware is a tricky task, but it's not one you can afford to ignore. SEE ALSO: 'Virus-scanning' iOS apps have always been a scam. 18. Lets say you’re roaming the city on your bike. You know your final destination — but you don’t necessarily care how you get there, or if your route is the shortest possible one. You just want to ride. That’s the idea behind BeeLine, a “fuzzy navigation” device for cyclists. You tell it where you want to go, and it constantly points you in that direction… Read More View the full article
  19. It was one of the highlights of an uneven season 7: Arya Stark (Maisie Williams) returning to Winterfell and showcasing her mad sword skills by sparring with Brienne of Tarth (Gwendoline Christie). But it didn't go down the way you think. For one thing, that wasn't Maisie doing an incredible acrobatic leap from her back, even though CGI fooled you into thinking it was. SEE ALSO: 'Game of Thrones' fans have a huge theory about Arya's endgame Now that HBO's behind-the-scenes video series The Game Revealed has reached Season 7 episode 4, we have this breakdown of the Brienne-Arya choreography — which is well worth a watch. 21. Aw, those nice Stranger Things kids — so nice! So gracious! So accommodating! We're not just talking about the likes of Emmy-nominated Millie Bobby Brown (who didn't trip when she lost a supporting award to Ann Dowd of Handmaid's Tale on Sunday night), but also the marketing and legal departments at Netflix, who were pretty cool about a Chicago pop-up bar totally copping their whole Stranger Things thing to sell some cocktails. SEE ALSO: Barb got her very own shrine at the 'Stranger Things' Comic-Con space The unabashedly Stranger Things-themed "The Upside Down" bar opened last month in Logan Square, but apparently forgot to run that idea by Netflix, which sent a cease-and-desist letter to the temporary business, according to a local report. 25. For the past year, the internet's been Photoshopping the crap out of Donald Trump's every move. It's about time we took it back for a little blast from the past, Obamas edition. During the first 100 days of his first term as president, Barack and First Lady Michelle Obama took some time to help plant a tree at the Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens in Washington, D.C. From the looks of this photo, Michelle did all the work, and Barack wore a white-collared shirt.
