Someone needs to give Jake Gyllenhaal and Jeff Bauman their own comedy show. SEE ALSO: Jake Gyllenhaal's 'Stronger' is the second feature film about the 2013 Boston Marathon bombing The pair have been touring together to promote the movie Stronger (in which Bauman, a survivor of the Boston Marathon bombing, is played by Gyllenhaal) — but they recently took some time out to ask each other the big questions. Questions like: "You know Van Wilder right? Ryan Reynolds? I really wanted him to play me. I was just wondering why he didn't?" And also: "You ever thought about doing a good movie?" Bauman even sneaks in a question about Taylor Swift, just for good measure. Read more... More about Funny, Interview, Jake Gyllenhaal, Stronger, and Jeff BaumanView the full article

Well, GoCardless co-founder and CEO Hiroki Takeuchi knows how to work a non-denial denial. When I interviewed him a few weeks ago for an extensive profile piece we ran yesterday, he wouldn’t be drawn on if the hot London fintech was raising a new round. Today, the company is announcing $22.5 million in new funding. Read More View the full article

Feel free to file this in the "unlikeliest covers ever" folder. Lil Wayne covered the Friends theme song, poking fun at the San Francisco 49ers' poor start to the NFL season in a promotion for the league's second week on Fox. Well, as fans would know the 49ers did indeed go 0-2 with their loss to the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday, but the upshot is that we've got this utterly bizarre Lil Wayne cover to store in our minds forever. You don't need to suck in that gut anymore, because now you can wear it proudly out of your shirt. The Dadbag is a fanny pack (or bum bag, depending on where you're from) that looks like a hairy belly sticking out from under your t-shirt. SEE ALSO: Yes, Vladimir Putin has gone shirtless again to remind you of his dad bod power Made by London-based art director Albert Pukies, the currently one-of-a-kind waist pouch may soon become mass produced too, after Pukies' pictures of it started going viral on social media, including Weibo in China. Image: albert pukies Pukies told Mashable he's already received several enquiries from manufacturers, and buyer response seems strong enough that he's considering launching a Kickstarter campaign. Finding other people with the same outfit can be annoying, but at least these guys found the humour in it. Debbie Speranza from Sydney, Australia found herself in quite an extraordinary situation with five other women wearing the same dress at a wedding, purchased at the same clothing chain — Forever New. SEE ALSO: This couple had a tech-themed wedding that was super Instagram-worthy "You really should start a bridal registry so that your customers can enquire whether anyone else has purchased one of your dresses for the same event," she wrote on the chain's Facebook page on Sunday. Too good. Read more... More about Australia, Culture, Wedding, Weddings, and Culture View the full article

No one likes a bully. Especially Laurence Kirk in Sydney, Australia, who decided to take matters into his own hands when he spotted two magpies giving a possum on the road a hard time. Dogs are loveable things, but they're especially adorable when they interrupt important human things. Like this soccer match between Argentinian soccer teams San Lorenzo and Arsenal on Saturday, which found itself interrupted by the appearance of a very, very eager pupper who just wanted to play too. SEE ALSO: Dog and kitten are the epitome of friendship goals Just look at how much fun it's having, giving all of the humans a hard time. While players on the field did their best to try and usher the dog off the field, it was only interested in one thing: The ball. Eventually this cheeky little fella was coaxed off the field, where someone tried to get an 'interview'. Looks like it wasn't too interested in having a chat, though. Read more...
