  6. I heard about this on a country music radio station while flipping dial this morning... seems Georgia rednecks still don't like her very much.
  7. I bet that little marketing plan had quite a pay off... to bad for them that's very illegal. I must admit part of me does admire their "we'll do whatever it takes" attitude... but on the other hand you'd think that they'd pick up artists that do a better job of selling themselves to the public w/out dirty under the rug pay-offs.
  8. That really sucks man, but I am glad it wasn't any worse and that everyone is safe. You'd think they'd know better than to mess with a Greek man's mother. Good luck finding who did it ;)
  9. You guys should check out "The Suckling" this is gooood shit..... A brief abstract: n opening crawl, before the credits, assures the gullible members of the audience that on April 1, 1973, a crime occurred unequalled in "all of Brooklyn's modern history." Twelve people were found dead inside a house of prostitution that doubled as an illegal abortion clinic. The one survivor was a young woman who told a tale so fantastic that she was immediately committed to a mental asylum. Experts researched the case for years, without finding an explanation. Only the brave filmmakers believe the poor young woman's tale to be true. So this story of an aborted fetus, flushed down the toilet and mutated by a close encounter with toxic waste until it becomes a 7-foot-tall, slimy, fanged monster that within hours returns to that abortion clinic to cocoon it with something that looks like yarn and munch down on the inhabitants while periodically saying "Raaaaaarr!" is, in effect, a docudrama.

I have no control over whether or not a walrus or a person wants to kill itself/their self. I DO have control over whether or not I want to contribute to unnecessary death or suffering. I choose not to.. it's a personal choice. You choose to eat meat.. that is your choice. I have no comments about YOUR lifestyle. I don't think there's anything "bunk" about trying to relieve suffering in the world. BTW I don't think pity and compassion are interchangeable... pity is compassion w/out action. My whole point was stated in my first post. The human body does NOT NEED meat and especially does NOT NEED red meat to be healthy. (good health is not contingent on meat eating) If I can do it w/out causing additional suffering, then I will even if it means I have to go to some trouble when it comes to organizing my diet (it's really not that hard). If you stereotype people you ALWAYS miss out on something valuable.

Yeah. And let's see: "Put an apple and a live Rabbit into a crib with a baby, and if the baby eats the Rabbit, I'll believe we're supossed to eat meat." Actual line from a professional PETA brainwasher, used in a middle school class. Think that one through, try a DEAD rabbit, and tell me what a baby WON'T try to eat. Compassion. Yeah. Most animal rights people have no problem ending human life to save a f%^&ing dog, that's compassion. Healthy. Well as long as we get our bunny hugging propoganda across, we will fail to tell people that supplementation is required with a vegetarian diet to make up for lost amino acids, and vitamins which are ONLY found in meat, primarily RED meat. It's called reality and a college education, and NEVER listening to a word that comes out of Moby's mouth. I apologize for the flame, but like I said, MOST (mind you, not all) vegetarians I encounter blow this crap out like truth. Sorry folks, it's not. Show me an overweight vegetarian (weightgain is a survival adaptation folks, winter wieght) and I'll believe that it's healthy, and survivable in a true natural state, not a McVeggies on every corner. I believe that any type of unnecessary killing is wrong. The activists you're speaking of represent less than .0001% of vegetarians in this country. They are completely wrong and very twisted individuals. Stereotyping MOST vegetarians as "crap blowers" and "activists" is quite irresponsible. I personally would rather not kill anything (or contribute to killing) if I don't have to in order to survive and live a healthy life... As for good health... I am a 205lb 6'2" collegiate athlete that benches over 300lbs. I have never had one bite of meat in my life.. I don't take any supplements. I guess you'd consider me a week little skinny withering vegetarian too??? I too have a college education... Here is some interesting information for you. - Pat Beck, Nutrition Specialist -North Dakota State University sited hereBashing vegetarians (generally very conscious individuals) by using gross generalizations just makes you look silly. Makes you wonder who's really "in touch with reality"

I have no problem understanding compassionate people who are into being healthy. I hate to be the one to break it to you... but...the human body does not NEED meat and especially does NOT need red meat.
