Dude shalt represent BeatKing at this event. Do us proud.

Unfortunately, I will be out town on the date of this significant event. Therefore, I'm hopeful the Lord of the manor himself-LOTD--will represent the kingdom in these backdoor activities. In fact, I have sent a note by carrier pigeon requesting he get first dibs, as opposed to sloppy seconds, thirds, fourths, fifths...or the dreaded 150th position..as that would be totally unaccepable to his Lordship, and to us personally.

As soon as I saw the Dude recommendations, I knew this was...uh....coming..my way. I think I may be outta town, but I don't quite think my lady would go for it. I'm also a bit camera shy, outta shape, and don't like to share. I refer this to MxRob and/or MikeHunt. :taskmaster:

Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
