Do you guys think we should make polls on the front page accessible by guests? Meaning, if a guest tries to vote on the front page they can without being prompted to join?

Or just leave it as is?

I think the polls should be accessble by all. If they post there, maybe they will join and post elsewhere

Iagree....no reason to make polls into something just for the in crowd. Open then to everybody....maybe some will join or maybe not, but at least some info will be gleaned about the guests.

Does anybody else find this funny?

I'm the bright guy that suggested we switch polls to allow guests to post. Now that there seems to be agreement that it would be a decent idea, I'm proud to report:

There is no way to do that within the software. Apparently it was just something I thought should be possible.

On the bright side, look at how this generated posts and opinions... umm yeah, that was my goal......

That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
