you might use another browser like mozilla or opera but you need to fix those holes. Certain programs still use IE without people actually knowing (not always a bad thing). Soulseek for instance, uses IE to show their homepage when you start the program

Of course, soulseek will never send bad codes but fixing those holes is a good idea

i take it MS hasn't responded on this yet? i live for the day when PCs will be released w/a perfect IE or barring that, w/an alternate browser (but i'm not holding my breath).

what's amazing to me is that the billgates monster has SO fucking much (but yet he still wants it ALL), a disgusting show of greed (and i think his paltry little charity is nothing more than public relations as well as a huge tax cut for him and yes i know his paltry little charity is in the millions--just a drop in the bucket for him).

      You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention. 
      But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
