Skateboarder on motorway

Traffic police in Germany have pulled over a man travelling down a motorway on a skateboard.

He turned out to be a Swedish tourist who had run out of money and could not afford public transport.

The skateboarder told officers he did not think using the autobahn would be a problem.

The Germans won't even cross an empty road unless there's a green man shown so I can only guess at the level of police presence needed to stop a man skateboarding on the autobahn.

They probably needed the police helicopter out for such a heinous crime as this.

I bet there are no signs or regulations about Skateboarders on the autobahn 'cause probably no one ever thought to make them. Good for the skateboarder, Im sick of cars t hinking they have the right of way over pedestrians...

Which is why all pedestrians should carry M-16 assault rifles.

A car gets a little close for comfort, BAM!

They'll be scraping him/her off the seat of his/her car/bus/truck/tank/camel with a shovel.

they should sort out this skateboard road/pavement deal

people moan when we skate passed them...and dogs dont like the noise and you cant skate on the road because cars dont seem to stop

we need a platform road over every road so that we can skate in safety..

im drunkard on cheap wine

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
