I like the new releases of FireFox. I was pleased to find better performace (no random termination of the program, like Mozilla 1.6), and I even got the AdBlock plug-in to work with it! It didn't work in previous versions.

However, there are still a mountain of page compatibility problems.

People are just not sticking to standards, and lots of people develop and test pages for IE, which the majority uses.

The devs need to understand and correct this, even if it means breaking a few standards; maybe give us options to turn on and off things.

Janet... Go to Tools/Options then down to Web features. See if javascript is enabled and if it is, go to advanced and make sure they are all checked. It might be a javascript menu.

i did that, and they were all checked but....

i did un-install adblock, and it seems to work now!

thanks for the reply :)

But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
