Does anybody remember XoloX?

Well lets refresh our memories shall we, it was #1 on Zeropaid.com's program list, it was most downloaded before Kazaa become populated and XoloX was at the top of its game. Ya do you remember now?

Now 2 years later its become pretty obvious that XoloX is no longer in development. Now why would this happen? The #1 p2p program and just discontinues. Well it may be back and ready to compete with the big guys (Morpheus, Kazaa.)

On XoloX's site they have this image up: x20.png

So this means XoloX will have the newest features you would find in top programs like Morpheus. But does this mean XoloX is going to be back to its prime or is this program done and dead. We will see.

The main questions we have to ask ourselves are.......

What network will their client run on? Will it still be Gnutella? Will it be a multi-network client?

Will they continue their campaign of adware?

What will they offer the P2P community that would entice people to use it?

That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
