my firewall (sygate) keeps showing loads of hits from the same ip's constantly..like for a few weeks or something, at first i thought it was teh sasser and msblast worms (that i just gor rid of) but there are still loads of hits from the same ip's.

204.1.226.228 = verio inc

I've had that happen. Certain IPs will just keep hammering at you. Sometimes it's due to leaving a P2P application (like Overnet) and still recieving connection attempts for awhile.

Other times it's some sort of scanning bot checking your machine for vulnerabilities. I'd block/ban the IPs if they really start to become bothersome.
