OK...D.A.I.C and that cat of his have obviously slept in....so i`ll bite the bullet and ask you all...

"What are you doing for the Weekend?

....the wet and windy weather we`ve had for months is raging down here..again.. :sad:... so it`s posting on BK and lots of indoors activity....like sleeping...and avoiding household chores...and general laziness all round... :lol:

It's Friday the 13th AGAIN....weird. Will not beat 2.13.09 though, no way no how.

I will be doing the same old shit, gawd I am seriously a bore. I will be working 1-9 tomorrow then I am off on Sunday. Dunno what I'll be doing tomorrow night, no kids, no man, no life....ahhh, probably sleeping. fun fun!

Hopefully I can catch up on some posting here. Will probably watch some college basketball, and do some writing. All work and no play makes DAIC a dull boy :sad:

      You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention. 
      But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
