Hey Beatking, doing a little self promotion. I am trying desperately to go to school. I live in Boise, Idaho and finding a job here is like finding a needle in a hay stack. Bottom line is I am unemployed and underfunded. I spend my days job hunting, using all of my money on gas. What I am doing now is using a website called ChipIn.com to try to raise some money to help me purchase a laptop to use for school. This may not be news, and may even get deleted, but I am doing everything I can. I know Beatking is full of great people and I am hoping that some of you can help. Every little bit helps. If you can't afford to donate but you have a blog, use twitter, etc please feel free to post a link to my page. I will be forever indebted to those who help and I thank you in advance.

You're not too far from me. It started to get a little scary towards the end of the BS game yesterday. I don't have alot, so I could only donate a small sum, but good luck with school. I have been semi-unemployed for the last couple of months as well. The temp agencies have saved my butt. You might want to check out some of them. Kellys or the like. They are also really good at working around a school schedule. Once again, good luck.

As far as the job hunt, I have a job at UPS now... very limited hours but a start.

I want to thank everyone that has contributed to this point. Your money went to insuring I would not be in Iraq, and in turn would be here with all of you on BK. The money also went to a close friend of mine who was unable to provide gifts for her five year old son. They will now both be able to enjoy a wonderful Christmas.

I am going to again attempt to get contributions that will go toward helping those that are less fortunate. Nothing has changed, all proceeds will be used for taking care of those that need the help. I am attempting to come up with $250 by late February. If you do not wish to donate, I understand, but if you would pass on the information that would be awesome. I realize not everyone has money during these trying times, but I do know that if we get enough people reading about it the right person will see it and be able to help. One penny or one dollar, every amount helps.
