I had a dear friend, and fellow Metalhead, email me today. She went on about how she had found a new favorite song and how great it was. She told me that I HAD to listen to it, that I was missing out. So naturally I got a little excited thinking I was going to hear a great new Metal song. I told her to email it to me right away.

A few seconds later my computer informed me I had a new email...."Mail Motha Fucka!" I opened it up and found inside a quick note and an MP3 from a band called Wax Tailor. The song is titled "To Dry Up". So I pressed play and was suprised to find myself listening to a catchy hip hop beat. At first I was disappointed. Then, as the song played, it latched on to me. I was addicted. I listened four times in a row before I had to run to work. I have yet to check out any of their other songs but, from what I have heard, there is potential. They have a Myspace page (Here) but I am at work and can't access it. I suggest you do.

If anyone would like me to forward the email with the MP3 just let me know or email at my email address below!

You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
