No love for producers?

Recommended Posts

oh, okay :P

we have a djs and musicians forum--we put alot of producer oriented stuff THERE. Any topics you think we are missing? We will post them...

sometimes we post music tech tools in the Tech forum... my guess is that what you are looking for here, but that it isnt easily seen at first grasp.

we also have member's music - the assumption is that you are the producer there. the lyrics era is more song-writer oriented. then of course, are all the individual music forums...sometimes producers post their stuff in each of the various genres; PeteZ posted his latest production in the download section. some people post their shows HERE.

we hope to have a store and a trading post soon for you folks, too. what forums would you like to see? we love input

Aaah the tech forum is where I need to be. I'm mostly just a wanna be who likes to play with music production tools rather than go any further than that. I'll look around the tech forum. :)

Thanks for the replies.

awesome. Where would you suggest we take music law talk? That's always a fun subject and could be useful to the hopefuls on this site. I have some knowledge in that area.

hmmm. id put it in the dj musicians forum... i will see if we can create a subforum- im waiting for mod input...that might be awhile, so be patient, its the weekend. but its a good idea

great. now i'll run off and post in the tech forum.

you could either post topics in the dj and musicians corner, or tech forum...or as one of the admins as suggested, start a blog in our blog section devoted to producing...

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
