message i got last night from Scott Horton:

Do you know about recording TV and putting it online and such at all?

And you live in England, right?

There is a thing about OKC on BBC2 this Sunday night, and I fear that I will never get to see it.

sunday night, 9 pm on BBC 2: Investigation into whether the Oklahoma bombing was the work of Tim McVeigh or if there were others being protected in a government cover-up. With scenes which some viewers may find upsetting

from here:

The bombing of April 19, 1995, was the biggest attack on American soil before 9/11, killing 168 people, including 19 children.

The programme talks to conspiracy theorists who claim that the US government not only had foreknowledge of the attack, they had informants inside the conspiracy who actively encouraged the bombing.

The film features revealing interviews with the leading FBI investigators in the case, one of whom, for the first time, is now calling for the investigation to be re-opened. With scenes which some viewers may find upsetting.

if anyone can tape these for me and/or help Scott or at least send him/me the tapes, i'll be more than happy to pay for tapes and postage.

I've watched a couple of the episodes of this series on Google Video. I will keep my ears and eyes and hungry paws open if it's posted on the web somewhere

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
