Continuing today's series on electronica tango, Beatking offers up Quango Records Bitter: Sweet, who hail from LA. You may be familiar with them, since Microsoft used their music as a centerpiece to sell their Zune MP3 player. The band is comprised of Shana Halligan, who provides vocals and lyrics and composes the songs, and Kiran Shahani, who produces and composes the songs. They are often compared to Serge Gainsbourg - but I think you can see a cleared resemblance to the Gotan Project and Gecko Turner.
