Didn't get invited to the Microsoft Zune party in Hollywood last night--that tells you how hip they are :) Didn't got to a symposium on Bobby Kennedy, either, due to the last minute invite. Instead, went to a book signing party for a bud in Venice at a book store on the beach - lots of fun - saw some old friends, met some new ones. Today I get together for a monthly lunch with a PR agent, talent agent and attorney where we diss the entertainment industry, gossip and what not. Not sure whats up for the weekend...I promise to be up to no good

What about you?

Saturday: Football in the afternoon, Lame Duck dinner party in the evening (serving the duck with wild mushrooms and fig sauce)...first time making it...should be an interesting evening with friends and alot of shouting...LOL...followed by 4 hours at Midnight Sound studio to practice for the Toys for Tots gig December 2.

Sunday: Ride the couch with a good movie and my son Conor (depending on the weather, of course).

Potato: feel better...tea with honey and lemon really soothes. Try this: Mix 1/4 cup of Honey with 1/4 cup of HEINZ Apple Cider Vinegar and take 1 tablespoons 6x a day. My girlfriend swears by it.

As promised here are a couple pics from my London-Germany Trip in October 06. I spent approximately 4 hours today renaming close to 500 pics from this trip. I am exhausted.

what's more is, we were put on the guestlist to see the Rock Freebase Showband in Tenby (Wales) tonight. yesterday we're on the phone w/Rock and he's all like 'we're 12 miles from Bristol' and i'm all 'well, get your asses over here and collect us and take us to Exeter as well (their gig last night).' Pablo the tour manager refused to stop off here, the dipshit.

anyway, we went to book trains to Tenby, only to discover that it would take us 3,5 hours to get there from here. WE ARE TOTALLY PISSED OFF and Pablo (and Rock) are on my shitllist hahahahaha.

so tonight we shall continue running around all the good punky pubs in Bristol and raising the bar for acceptable adult behavior in public, of course.

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
