Journey/Def Leppard...

Recommended Posts

A friend and I went to see Journey and Def Leppard at the Pavilion on July 30th. I missed a third of Journey (they came out first), but I won't go into that, it would take too long. Let's just say she made us late....

Anyway, it was a great show (after I calmed down from being pissed). Journey had a new singer, I was told he was filling in, their singer is having throat problems. He did a decent job on the songs. Journey did all their classic hit songs.

Def Leppard did a great job also. They too did all their hits and some new songs off their new cd. Their version of Rock On isn't too bad.

Of course I took a lot of pictures!! I'll add some more later!

You're a pretty styling photographer.

Any of those are as good as entertainment photographers' efforts.

Do you mind if we used any for the front page here? You know.... if Journey or Def Leppard make the news?

Thanks Shawn and Dude. Yes you can use them for front page news. And as Kiwi says, I can......ahem..."donate" them without the water mark too!

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
