Smoke DZA Only Cares About One Color On "All Green"

Smoke DZA came through with the Prime Location Vol. 2 project on May 4th, blessing fans with a short but sweet effort. With only 5 tracks, DZA delivered an exceptional piece of work. Coming in at track 2 is "All Green," and retro sounding single that features a plucky guitar riff. The guitar falls somewhere between country western and southern rock, and an animated piano joins the strings to create an evocative melody.

DZA approaches the beat with his usual breathy energy, choosing to air out his flow to allow the guitar to shine through. "All Green" sounds like it could be performed in Westworld or The Good, The Bad, And The Ugly. Money and marijuana are all the green Smoke DZA needs, and we can't argue with that.

Quotable Lyrics
One thing, we come in peace but still gun slang
So keep your peace unless you want flames
Through all the smoke, smoke clear, smoke there
Still gotta a whole lotta deaths for wholesale

That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
