Tyler, The Creator appears to confirm that he'll be dropping a new album in the near future. Earlier this week, Sony's fiscal breakdown leaked onto the Internet, revealing that a new project is coming before July. While Tyler didn't confirm nor deny the truth to it at the time, it seems like he'll be dropping new music sometime soon. The rapper quietly shared a short clip on social media of some new music while debuting his new look as a blonde. He shared a clip of the new song and visual on Twitter along with a smiley face so best believe that the follow-up to 2017's Flower Boy is coming soon.

Tyler's still been active musically since the release of his last project but in 2018, he seemed to put his focus into other ventures aside from his career as a solo artist. He's been steadily working on the Golf Wang brand which has been gaining a lot of success over the years in the fashion world.

The rapper also made a major dive into the film industry in 2018. After dropping several freestyles across the year, it was announced that he contributed the song "I Am The Grinch" to the movie's soundtrack. Additionally, he released a six-track EP, Music Inspired by Illumination & Dr. Seuss' The Grinch, which he composed and also contributed vocals to.

Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
