AIFF to mp3?

Perchance is there a freebie that converts AIFF to mp3? (or even WAV would do just as well.)

Searched but all I could find were ones with free trial limited to 3 minutes. Fat lot of use that is!

NHC swift sound do some good stuff..i have used some of their telephone related software and it works very well...... :)

Switch is terrific - works for Windows, Macs, Linux.... Traders Little Helper is also good for Window's users.

And Infanview does conversions and a whole lot more, but is sadly only available for Windows.
