As you might have heard: Zacari is the latest vocalist making waves over at TDE. After debuting two video singles, and sitting down for countless interviews, Zacari is inching ever so close to launching his debut EP with the label. Unsurprisingly, Zacari who would be the first to describe himself as "a learned dropout," isn't one to boast or brag or inconsequentially. That's why the tracklist for his TDE debut shows him taking in a host of contributions from artist's he's worked with in the past, including his go-to producer J. Louis.

Zacari announced the tracklist himself by showing it off the old-fashioned way: the back cover shot of the EP uploaded to Instagram. Lil Yacthy is the lone rapper blessing the project with his vocal musings. The production of the 7 songs is undertaken by a group that includes the likes of Teddy Walton, Syk Sense, IAMNOBODI, Cubeatz, and the aforementioned J. Louis. Run Wild Run Free is expected to drop as planned tomorrow, or rather tonight at midnight. Are you stoked, hit us with your thoughts?

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
