Since last year, Kyle Dion has been crafting the rollout of his debut album SUGA. Notably catching our ears with the infectious "Brown" single, the budding crooner was setting the stage for what has arrived as a concept album, chronicling the "aura of sex, drugs, rock & roll”  through the perspective of a fictional character named Suga.

Dion describes the project as "a poetic outlet exploring the intricate complexities Suga endures, as he rises to fame whilst fighting an ongoing battle with his own internal demons."

Outfitted with 13 track total, SUGA is a melodic time machine that calls on the essence of a past era, invoking smooth elements of funk and soul and making effective use of a dreamy falsetto to create timeless pieces of art. Get into SUGA down below.

Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
