Rising act Patrik has come through with a new GoldSoul-produced track "SRRYINADVNCE." According to Patrik, he's been holding onto the song for "a year now" and we're so pleased he's finally dropped it off since it's a smooth, catchy beat that compliments Patrik's cadence.

The lyrical content seemingly touches on Patrik's moves of constantly grinding to get where he is and understanding that a higher power's got his back.  "Never worry got a plan, when the plans not the plan, know the Lord's got a hand so I'm sorry in advance," he spits.

We can't say for sure whether the song's coming off an upcoming tape by Patrik, but considering he just dropped off his album Spadina before the new year, both projects will hold us over until we get some new tunes from the Montreal based artist.

Listen to the new-new and let us know what you think in the comments.

But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
