Dallas rapper Big Hud has been working for a minute, having compiled more than a few notable collaborations on his resume. Now, with his sight set on the future, Hud has let fly another banger from his upcoming Big Dawg Johnson album. Following up his recent Rittz team-up "Wipe The Slate Clean," Hud has linked with Trapboy Freddy to bring out "My Boy," a Marz Beats-laced odyssey. Taking to the lullaby-esque chimes, Hud's Southern drawl floats as he depicts the reality of his situation. "I been on it lately, hustling on the daily," he spits. "Stacking up my bag, like I shopped at Macy's."

Trapboy Freddy handles the second verse, living up to his name with some gritty reflections on his environment. "Trap on they block bitch I get it and roll it," he raps. "Keep that bitch going till they give me a notice." The track marks the third single off Big Dawg Johnson, and will receive a full-fledged visual treatment next month. Look for Hud's full-length project to arrive this spring, and sound off below. You feeling this one?

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
