R. Kelly's Alleged Sex Cult Lair Has A Potential New Buyer: Report

R. Kelly's been the topic of discussion for the past few days due to Lifetime's Surviving R. Kelly docuseries. Surviving R. Kelly puts a spotlight on the sexual misconduct allegations he's faced over the past few days and included accounts from his alleged victims. The singer was accused of recruiting women for a sex cult which allegedly headquartered at his Chicago studio. However, it's been up for sale for a while and it looks like someone's finally interested it copping it.

According to The Blast, R. Kelly's studio/alleged sex cult den has a potential buyer. The new owner seems to be willing to cough up a few mills for the property which has a shady history behind it. Allegedly, Kellz' 8,000 square ft. industrial property in Chicago's West Side is where he used to house women who joined his alleged sex cult.

The property is currently going for $3.9M after the price dropped from $4.5 million. The property's description says the property is "Fully Rented Net Leased Investment Property With High Profile Tenant Paying $22,927.41 Per Month T-Net Plus 100% Of All Expense."

The building is owned by Midwest Commercial Funding who've made it very clear that they don't represent or work with R. Kelly. They also wouldn't reveal how Surviving R. Kelly -- which discussed the studio in the docuseries -- impacted the sale of the building. The two-story building includes a full recording studio and the sellers claim it's  “excellent investment property in a hot area.”

While the building is up for sale, R. Kelly reportedly still has seven years left in his lease which has been included into the deal. 

The property was visited by parents, law enforcement officials and family members of women who were held captive in Kellz' alleged sex cult. However, whenever police were involved, the women were determined to have not been in danger nor held against their will.
