Jordan Brand is paying tribute to Carmelo Anthony with one of their first Air Jordan releases of the new year, as the "Flint" Air Jordan 19 is officially slated to launch this Saturday, January 5.

The kicks, which were worn by Melo during the 2004 season as a member of the Denver Nuggets, come equipped with specially branded insoles as a nod to the 10-time All-Star forward.

The "Flint" Air Jordan 19 consists of a white leather upper, highlighted by a patent leather toe box and a flint grey shroud covering the tongue. Additional details of the $225 sneaker include chrome Jumpman logos on the midfoot and heel, and a flint grey inner lining.

According to Sneaker News, Nike will be introducing their new "Line Checkout" release procedure for the first time this Saturday when the AJ19s launch at 10am ET. Once the kicks go live, you can get “in line” using your Nike+ account and your order will be completed once your turn comes up.
