Roscoe Dash must have been in the studio all year long. He cooked up The Prequel To 5Thy5ive earlier in December, and now he's returned with 5Thy5ive. Somehow, the massive project features 72 songs. The hip-hop community has clowned Dash, and at one time it was alleged that he was driving for rideshare companies. His latest effort sends a message to those who may have counted him down and out, and may take a few days to digest even the first time.

5Thy5ive features guest appearances from Trae Tha Truth, Troy Ave, Chevy Woods, Sincerely Collins, Beat King, Reo Cragun, MikeyyMcFlyy, G.O.,  YoungBlacc, Lyrica Anderson, K-Major, JbarFromThe90s, LilRonnyMothaF, Hayden Hendrix, and Kaliogo1wayea. It may take some time to break down this entire project, but from what I've heard so far, it's worth the plunge.

But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
