Boosie Badazz is in the Christmas spirit, and we're not mad at it. Although the holiday has ended, the week between Christmas and New Year's Eve might as well be a holiday of its own. Yes, many adults need to head back to work but the week still feels like a vacuum of time where presents and cheer are still fresh in everyone's mind. Badazz is spreading that cheer, mixed with his gangster insight, on his latest mixtape Savage Holidays.

The holiday-themed album holds 13 tracks and features guest appearances from YFN Lucci, Rich Homie Quan, Tootie Raww, and Iviona Badazz. Boosie manages to fuse his signature gangster style with the holiday theme. Savage Holidays has some hood track titles such as "Another Christmas Without My Niggas," "The Bitch Who Stole Christmas," and "Santa Claus of the Ghetto," but they bump just as hard in the suburbs.

But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
