The Air Jordan 13 is one of the most iconic Jordan models because of what it means to Michael Jordan himself. Simply put, it was the last shoe he ever won an NBA title in. The sentimental value alone makes it a can't miss sneaker when retro colorways of it make it to the market. According to sneaker account zSneakerHeadz on Instagram, Air Jordan 13 fans can now expect a Los Angeles Lakers colorway of the classic shoe.

Jordan won his first championship in 1992 against the Lakers, making the California team one of his biggest rivals. Although it doesn't look like that's stopping Jordan Brand from making the purple and gold colorway. The entire upper of the shoe is white with the Jordan 13's signature leather finish. There is purple on the side of the shoe that bleeds into the midsole and also wraps around the heel. On the outsole, there is a gold Lakers finish with a gold Jumpman on the tongue.

As is usually the case with zSneakerHeadz, these images are simply photoshop mockups based on the colorway code. The account claims these will be releasing in the Summer of 2019 and will run you about $190 USD.

Will you be looking out for these if they release later next year?

But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
