Drake Wishes His Adoring Fans A Merry Christmas

We just rounded up a Christmas day Instagram gallery that showed off the many holiday happenings by some of your favourite artists. 2 Chainz, Jennifer Lopez, Will Smith and many more shared images of their matching pajamas, huge Christmas trees, endless gifts and sparkly new rides they received and gave to loved ones this year.

The only person missing from our round-up was none other Drizzy Drake, who came through a little later in the day to wish a Merry Christmas to his adoring fans on Instagram. It looks like Drake's in Toronto at his humble abode and from his Instagram stories he's getting help from a chef to whip up one fine Christmas meal (can I cop an invite). In another share to his story, he shows off his very own (and very large) tree with a cute amount of gifts underneath. At one point, Drake also points the camera to his large framed photo of Marilyn Monroe.

"Merry Christmas," he adds at the end of the clip.

In other Drizzy news, he recently announced during his trip to lovely Jamaica that he signed Popcaan to his OVO label. He told the mega-crowd that it's been something they've been working on for some time and what a better time to announce than the holidays.

Here's to a growing roster in 2019.

That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
