Sort of short-sighted - the newspapers now have an opportunity to get a foothold in to an international audience instead of just regional ones. They have to get with the times

Courts will throw it straight out. Don't know why the newspapers are willing to put themselves through the embarrassment.

I dont even get what they are complaining about. Google News doesnt even have adverts. It is traffic that people pay a fortune to recieve from google.

If papers dont want their content available for free as it is taking away sales - DONT PUT IT ON THE FUCKING INTERNET! jeez.

I agree with you there, why should it be such a big deal. More coverage means more readers.

      But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
