I honestly didn't think his last one was that bad.

It never had a bunch of radio hits but had some solid tunes. [ass like that, encore, toy soldiers, evil deeds, big weenie]

The new album has 2 unreleased songs and is arranged as a greatest hits package.

You can pre-order at his site or wait for the release and just dl the 2 new ones.

But it is a good point. Both the Marshall Mathers LP, and The Eminem Show, in my opinion, were superb ALBUMS.

Both of those CD's were a rarity in my experience, where I only skipped a maximum of 2 song tracks, and of course, skit tracks are only good for one play, unless they add to a song, or are just funny as hell.

If em does call it quits, I hope he puts out at least one more good album. I agree that for the most part, Encore blew goats.

There's always good songs on an album, and songs that aren't as good.... and there are exceptions to that but none are coming to mind right now. I'm too fucking cold.

Just be happy you're not here.

You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
