Rusty Anderson — Paul McCartney’s lead guitarist who has also played with Elton John, Sinéad O’Connor, the Wallflowers and New Radicals — is releasing his first solo album, Undressing Underwater, available initially through

http:www.RustyAnderson.com. One song, "Hurt Myself," features the entire McCartney band, including Macca, recorded during a brief break in Paul’s 2002 tour. "The session was booked at lightning speed," Anderson tells ICE, "because after Paul said he wanted to record something, I realized we only had three days in L.A. before flying to Mexico to play more shows." The disc, which also features ex-Police drummerStewart Copeland, should also be available in stores shortly.
