unfortunately yes--the older you get, the faster time seems to fly by (it's allllll relative)

I have to work all weekend :(

Tonight it's hockey :I value your imput: and then on Saturday (after about two or three hours of sleep) I have to be back at the Toyota Center for early call for ELTON JOHN...I'll be there allllll day! Sunday I am working at the Pavilion for Easter Service, I have to be there at 6:30 am, and another boring hockey game in the afternoon at Toyota. So in other words, I will be getting NO SLEEP this weekend!!!

I plan to sleep all day on Monday!

Have 3 days off. I've been living in my current home for a little over a year now.

And I've never prepared a holiday meal here. I'm going to cook Easter dinner on Sunday. My new/old girlfriend is coming over. Just going to eat, probably watch a movie, and whatever else we are moved to do.

well, the owner and the mothercat dug us. the 3 little kitties are sooo cute...the one we'll be taking home is all grey w/a white face; i'm going back every week so the kitty won't be freaked when we finally take her/him (?) home (i can't wait...it's too quiet here). :)

Got a 9 pound ham. That should be enough. Bring your own girl.

:P

I will have to cruise the streets and see what I can pick up. I could bring the wife but she is a party pooper 4sure. I only take her to liberals' houses.

Change of plans. The g/f got called out to work tomorrow. She's coming over tonight. The ham's in the oven right now.

Just dont fluster, when she puts on the mustard

If I spend all afternoon baking a perfectly seasoned ham, anybody putting mustard, or anything else, on it is subject to be shot!!

That's not where I think she was aiming :rotfl: J/K Have fun, Joe!

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
