Scissor Sisters were the big winners last night at the Brit awards. Franz Ferdinand, Keane and Joss Stone won two awards each.

At the ceremony, Sir Bob Geldof was also given the Outstanding Contribution to Music Award by Jools Holland.

well, let's break this down. 3 of my trusted friends were pissed and even if they weren't, a lifetime of experience has always informed me that if whatever tune has mass appeal, i won't like it.
