What would happen if you went into a Taco Bell with a $50 and a $2 and tried to spend... the two?

On my way home from the second job I've taken for the extra holiday cash I need, I stopped at Taco Bell for a quick bite to eat. In my billfold is a $50 bill and a $2 bill. That is all of the cash I have on my person. I figure that with a $2 bill, I can get something to eat and not have to worry about people getting pissed at me.

The customer reminds me of how I would have handled the situation  It doesnt surprise me that the manager was an idiot. I just spent 4 months getting a credit card from B of A for a client--they thought it was suspicious that my client wanted his credit card delivered to the same address as his checking and savings account!!!

But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
