  1. If you’re a child of the ‘80s or ‘90s, you’re familiar with Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark. The series of children’s books, written by Alvin Schwartz and initially illustrated by Stephen Gammell, were staples of every boy and girl’s book shelf and provided so many of them with so many nightmares. Now there’s a movie adaptation of some of the bone-chilling tales found in the pages of that iconic collection. Our first look at the movie came in the form of four brief teasers aired during Super Bowl LIII, and they definitely look terrifying — especially for the younger audience these books were written for. Is the movie version still aiming for that same crowd? Maybe on the older end of the originally intended age range. Check... Read More View the full article
  2. A lawyer for 21 Savage released a statement Monday afternoon in the wake of the rapper’s arrest and detainment by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials on Sunday. According to lawyer Charles H. Kuck, ICE refuses to release Savage, born Sha Yaa Bin Abraham-Joseph, on bond of any amount,... View the full article
  3. It appears Young Thug is the latest rapper to come to the defense of his good friend 21 Savage. If you’ve been sleeping under a rock for the past 24 hours, then you might’ve missed the news that 21 was arrested on Sunday by ICE for possibly being an illegal citizen. His lawyers, family & friends are saying its one big misleading story, while he’s adding that ICE is trying to intimidate him to leave the country. ICE is saying 21 came to the US as a child on a Visa, which expired years ago, and has been living as an illegal citizen ever since. Despite the shock & confusion of the story, the “Bank Account” rapper has been getting a lot of support from his peers in hip-hop particularly rappers in Atlanta like Offset, Quavo, Gucci Mane, and now Young Thug as well. Thugger jumped on IG Monday afternoon and shared some words of encouragement to his close friend. “Don’t worry u covered my luv,” Thugger wrote while sharing a photo of himself and 21. What Thugger means by “don’t worry u covered” is anyone’s guess, but ending it with the sensual “my love” had his comment section LIT. One person wrote “Man U gay,” while many others questioned his “My luv” comment. Nevertheless, Thugger is trying to offer some encouragement to his homie. Check out the post (below) and we’ll continue to keep you posted on 21’s story moving forward. View the full article
  4. The trade talks are starting to pick up right now between the Los Angeles Lakers and New Orleans Pelicans as teams are trying to reach a deal for superstar Anthony Davis to join LeBron in LA. Well in order to get AD to Hollywood, it appears sophomore guard Lonzo Ball may be packaged in the trade and could wind up in New Orleans, but his loud & boisterous father isn’t with that idea. In fact, LaVar said he doesn’t want Zo in New Orleans, and that he wants him to stay in LA (well duh). Lavar did acknowledge that if Lonzo had to go to a new destination, that Phoenix would be the best fit. "We want to be in L.A.," LaVar Ball said to ESPN. "But if he's traded, I don't want Lonzo in New Orleans. Phoenix is the best fit for him. And I am going to speak it into existence.” Unfortunately for LaVar, players’ dads don’t get to dictate trades or what city their sons’ can go to. That’s called the General Manager, and Rob Pelinka & Magic Johnson look to be over with the Zo experiment for now. Where do you think Lonzo would best fit in, other than Los Angeles Lakers? 5. Skinnyfromthe9 caught a buzz in 2018 but he's clearly looking to increase that this year. He faced a few setbacks last year that prevented him from really blowing up. The rapper was arrested on kidnapping charges last year. He also shared the same manager as Tekashi 6ix9ine, Shotti and. However, since the demise of the Tr3yway camp, Skinny's been holding things down on his own. Towards the end of 2018, he released his project, It's An Evil World. Today, he returns with his latest single, "Don't Drown." Skinnyfromthe9 is back with his new single, "Don't Drown." The track follows the release of "Problems (Breed)" which he dropped last month. "Don't Drown" was produced by Yung Lan who delivers a guitar-heavy instrumental for Skinny. It's a promising single from Skinny that has the potential to gain more traction. 6. Well it looks like Rihanna boycotted watching the Super Bowl yesterday and she did so in support of Colin Kaepernick. On Monday, RiRi took to her IG story and informed fans that she’s kneeling with Kaep, and not NFL. “For those of you who thought I was watching the Super Bowl… we beefin’,” she wrote. Of course the IG story caught the attention of Colin, who decided to respond and show his appreciation for the Bad Gal. “I really appreciate @badgalriri keepin it ??,” Kaep wrote on IG a little while ago. Rihanna’s boycott doesn’t come much of a surprise as she actually turned down this year’s halftime performance that Maroon 5 did. “They offered it to her, but she said no because of the kneeling controversy. She doesn’t agree with the NFL’s stance,” a close source revealed a few months ago. Rihanna wasn’t the only celebrity to boycott the game for Kaep however. Artists like Common, Nick Cannon, Lena Wraithe, Ava DuVernay and others all stood with Kaep by not watching the game. It looks like it worked too as reports have suggested this year’s game was the lowest ratings for the Super Bowl in over a decade. Check out Kaep’s reaction to Rihanna’s boycott (below). 7. Captain Marvel, the 21st entry in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, will mark the mega-franchise's first movie focused on a single female superhero. And the first to be co-directed by a female filmmaker and scored by a woman composer. The highly anticipated film, which will take place more than 10 years before the MCU began, has been in development since 2013 and finally flies into theaters in early 2019. A new teaser trailer TV spot arrived during Super Bowl LIII with a focus on Captain Marvel’s gender, telling the audience that anything superheroes can do, superheroines can do it better. And higher. And further. And faster. Brie Larson, as the title character, asserts that she’s ready to show the boys how it’s done. Watch that down below after reading... Read More View the full article
  8. Chris Brown's year didn't start off on the best note. During a trip to France, the singer was detained by French officials over allegations that he raped a woman. He vehemently denied the accusations and was later released without any charges. Brown received tons of support from his peers and friends in the music industry. In a recent episode of REVOLT's State Of The Union, Remy Ma explained why she didn't believe the allegations against him. Brown took to Instagram to show her some major love for sticking by him. Chris Brown's undoubtedly a polarizing figure in the music industry so when allegations surfaced that he raped a woman, people either believed it or they didn't. Remy Ma didn't believe the allegations, in fact, she said that these women coming out to accuse famous men of rape are liars. "These females that are coming out lyin'. There has to be some -- there are no repercussions. 'Ok, he's going to sue her.' The bitch is broke, it's not even going to effect nobody," she said before detailing the amount of money Brown would have to spend to prove his innocence if he was charged with rape. She went on to defend Breezy's "This Bitch Lyin'" shirt, saying, "I feel like the only thing that he can do that probably would really affect her and make her feel some type of way is to put on the shirt, 'This Bitch Is Lyin'. Matter of fact, send me a shirt." Brown reposted the video to his Instagram page and thanked Remy for holding him down. "THANK YOU FOR ALWAYS BEING IN MY CORNER AND BEING MY BIG SIS!!!" He wrote. 9. ICE arrested and detained 21 Savage this weekend, citing an expired visa. The rapper's lawyer has since issued a statement addressed his legal situation. According to the document, ICE officials have refused to release the entertainer on a bond. It also reveals that a U Visa application their client has been pending since 2017, which points to the government's knowledge of his immigration status. "Based upon incorrect information about prior criminal charges and now refusing to release him on a bond of any amount, despite the fact that he has a U-Visa application (as the victim of crime) with USCIS, and that he has relief from removal available to him. Mr. Abraham-Joseph has never his immigration status from the US government." The statement goes on to explain why 21 Savage is not a threat to society nor a flight risk considering his prominence as an entertainer and his contributions to the community. It then specifies that ICE has not charged the rapper with any crime. "As a minor, his family overstayed their work visas, and he, like almost two million other children, was left without legal status through no faults of his own. This is a civil law violation, and the continued detention of Mr. Abraham-Joseph serves no other purpose than to unnecessarily punish him and try to intimidate him into giving up his right to remain in the United States." 10. 21 Savage is facing the possibility of deportation after he was arrested by United States Immigration And Customs Enforcement in Atlanta yesterday. ICE's spokesperson revealed that 21 is actually a citizen of the U.K. which puzzled many due to his strong ties to Atlanta. His management, friends, family, and fans have rallied together to show their support for the rapper. His mother recently took to Instagram to issue her own statement on his arrest. Alberto E. Rodriguez/Getty Images 21 Savage's mother opened up about the rapper's arrest in her Instagram Story. She didn't share any details pertaining to his case but she did call for his freedom while sharing her disappointment in people who've been cracking jokes and sharing memes about the situation. "It's a damn shame when we live in a world where people thrive off and feed negative energy.. laugh at others who are going through real life challenges, fighting for their lives & freedom... sick of it! However in the end people will see! This too shall come to pass[.] Free 21 Savage," she wrote. Both of 21 Savage's parents have been under a microscope by the Internet after the rapper's arrest. Earlier today, footage of his mother speaking in a British accent emerged which further proved ICE's claim that he's a native of the U.K. Shortly after the video surfaced, his alleged birth certificate emerged which confirmed that he was born in London and lived there until he was 12-years-old before moving to Atlanta. 11. Tobe Nwigwe's output is impressive. The independent artist is known for releasing engaging videos via social media and has amassed a substantial following through his art and work ethic. Nwigwe recently dropped a short tune entitled, "A Snippet of Quintessential Rap," along with a laidback music video. Check it out below. The way he plays with his flow on this track is enjoyable in itself. He still tops off the rhythmic stylings with cohesive content, reminding folks of the old school essence of Hip Hop by shooting uplifting yet sharp lyrics. Tobe also dropped a music video in honor of his partner and unborn child last week. Peep the "Ode To Fat" visuals here. 12. In 2013, his casting as the most popular icon in the entire stable of DC Comics characters sent shockwaves through the devoted community of enthusiasts dedicated to the Dark Knight Detective, Batman. Some saw his casting as incongruous with the character they knew, while others were excited by the possibilities that his wearing the cape and cowl would represent. In the end, we got three very different kinds of appearances seeing this actor as the steward of the Batman character, championed by different directors and screenwriters in each successive turn to land on a portrayal that was a bit inconsistent, save for the man at the center. 13. Cardi B's shown a political side to herself since she blew up. She's been a vocal critic of Donald Trump and his policies. A few weeks ago, Cardi went off over Trump's government shutdown and how he summoned government employees back to work without any pay. Of course, this sparked a huge conversation among political pundits who feel that Cardi should stick to rapping since she has no background in politics. However, Joan Hill, Cardi B's former history teacher refutes that. Over the weekend, Hill clapped back at Cardi's haters and put them in their place. Theo Wargo/Getty Images Joan Hill was Cardi B's former history teacher at Renaissance High School for Musical Theatre and the Arts in the Bronx. She took to Facebook over the weekend to issue a message to anyone questioning her former pupil. “For those of you on my feed who are trashing Cardi B for representing a political voice 1) she probably scored higher than you on the US History regents exam and was in my AP govt class b) you’re not nearly as busy as her, and what have you done to advance political discourse in this country? 14. Ever since the devastating ending of Avengers: Infinity War, moviegoers have been dying to see what happens next and find out just what's become of not only half of Earth's Mightiest Heroes, but the whole Marvel Cinematic Universe. The fourth crossover tentpole of the franchise, Avengers: Endgame, will see theatrical release just under a year later, hopefully with all our questions answered. With a new teaser trailer TV spot that arrived during Super Bowl LIII, we still don’t get many answers, and that’s to be expected, but at least the spot is full of hope where the first one reminded us of more of the tragedy of Thanos’ snap. 15. Sidney Starr joined the cast of "Love & Hip Hop" with overt confidence. Her comfort in her sexuality does not completely erase the struggles she is facing as a transgender woman in the music industry. In a deleted scene from the reality television show's most recent episode, Starr sits down with her mother to discuss some of her challenges. A surgeon also addressed the reality television star's concerns about the gender reassignment surgery and informed her of the operation's risks. View the clips below. The aspiring rapper is working on her music career with Rich Dollaz' help. He hooked her up with Anya to work on music but their meeting turned into an attempt to revamp Sidney's look. Sidney explains how the assistance became tense as Anya intended to create a more revealing look to bolster the artist's feminine appeal. The way the plans switched dug up some of her insecurities. "I walk around with a purse in front of me cause I don't want people to see a bulge," Sidney told her mother. "I really, really, really want to succeed with my music so I can make money for my surgery." She is aware that the path to success is not a smooth one. Rich Dollaz made sure to tell her that her rap skills needed major work. "He basically told me I was trash and my delivery sucked," she explained. If the prospect of surgery is contingent to her making bank from music, Sidney Starr's musicality might have to level up. View the full article
  16. Quando Rondo made quite the name for himself in 2018. Throughout the year, his buzz grew exponentially as he aligned himself among some of the hottest in the South such as Boosie and Youngboy Never Broke Again. The latter shined a bigger light on Rondo with the release of 4Loyalty -- a four-track EP that Rondo contributed heavily to. While riding the momentum of the project, he released his own effort, Life After Fame which featured Youngboy, Rich Homie Quan, and others. He's continued to dish out new music and now, he returns with his latest track, "Gun Smoke." Quando Rondo is back with a brand new single to kick off February. The rapper's latest single follows the release of "First 48" which he released towards the end of 2018. 17. Now that the Super Bowl is over and we’ve had time to digest all the chicken wings and nachos humanly possible, not to mention, the game itself, we’re ready to talk (debatable) facts: Super Bowl 53 was one of the worst championship games in NFL history. There are so many elements that go into each game that it can be a daunting task to break down what made one game worse than the other. Not to mention, the first Super Bowl was played back in 1967, long before many of the people reading this were born. Sure, there were probably some real stinkers back in the day, but after watching yesterday’s catastrophe of a game, it’s hard to imagine anything being worse. The New England Patriots defeated the Los Angeles Rams 13-3 in what was the lowest scoring Super Bowl of all-time. Patriots quarterback Tom Brady cemented his legacy as the best player of all-time, picking up a record sixth-championship. Meanwhile, Rams QB Jared Goff and head coach Sean McVay had their worst showing of the season, scoring just three points despite finishing the regular season with the second-best offense in the league. Yesterday’s complete lack of offense had fans divided on social media; some said it was making the game extremely dull, while others enjoyed watching the two defenses slug it out. The issue here isn’t that the game was low scoring or that there was too much defense. Defensive football can be extremely fun to watch. Just look at the Seattle Seahawks and the Legion of Boom from 2013 or the 1985 Chicago Bears. Those were two teams that made defensive football a pleasure to watch. Yesterday’s game, though, wasn’t that. It was two high-powered offenses looking absolutely incompetent at the most crucial part of the season. The first eight Rams possessions ended in a punt, which had some joking that the punter should be considered for the Super Bowl MVP. The Patriots didn’t fare much better. Brady threw an interception on his first possession and then kicker Stephen Gostkowski missed a 46-yard field goal in the first quarter. The low score was much more about both teams’ ineptitude rather than the defenses ability to make big plays. McVay, the 33-year-old offensive mastermind couldn’t seem to find any of his signature creativity and kept running the ball on first down instead of going through the air. On the other end, Brady could only make a pass if it went to either Julian Edelman or Rob Gronkowski. Back in 2014, the Seattle Seahawks beat the Denver Broncos 43-8 in a game that was pretty well over after the first quarter. In 1990, the San Francisco 49ers walked all over the Denver Broncos, winning 55-10 in the biggest blowout in Super Bowl history. Now it’s true, watching a blowout is a lot less fun than witnessing a tight game but at least those matches were entertaining. Both the Seahawks and the 49ers treated viewers to an offensive onslaught that made the game watchable, unlike last night. Heading into yesterday’s game, fans expected an exciting, high-scoring affair but those expectations were quickly shattered once the first quarter ended in a 0-0 tie. These expectations were due in part to the fact that the Patriots and the Rams both had top 5 offenses that are known for keeping a high-tempo. If we knew going into the game that these were the two best defensive teams in the league, it would have been somewhat acceptable to have yesterday’s outcome. For instance, the Chicago Bears had the best defense in the NFC while the Ravens were the best in the AFC, according to ESPN. Neither of these teams were impressive offensively so a low-scoring Super Bowl between the two would have been expected. Before the game, oddsmakers had the over/under for the game at 56 combined points with most bettors taking the over. EA Sports’ Madden 19 did a simulation of the game beforehand and had the Rams taking it 30-27 so there was plenty of evidence to suggest that the game would contain a ton of scoring. The fans were being promised a matchup between two offensive juggernauts and instead we got two teams playing like it was preseason, not the Super Bowl. Usually, Super Bowls are filled with a ton of suspense near the end of the game as both teams are pushing for the win. That was not the case this time. The final moments were fairly anti-climactic, to say the least. The Patriots were up by a touchdown and with seven minutes to go, the Rams drove down the field and were close to tying it up. Goff, who was already having one of his worst games of the season, threw a horrible interception which allowed the Patriots to go down the field and score a field goal. Now down by 10, the Rams tried to rush down the field and get a quick field goal so they could attempt an onside kick and then try a hail mary to tie it. Well, absolutely none of that worked and the game ended on a missed field goal that would have made the score 13-6. It’s like they weren’t even trying. To add insult to injury, one of the most hated franchises in all of pro sports, the New England Patriots had to be the ones to win it. If a more likable team like the Kansas City Chiefs or the New Orleans Saints had won this game, maybe claims of this being the worst Super Bowl of all time would be diminished. Instead, this game gave a sixth ring to Brady and his coach Bill Belichick who have been terrorizing teams since 2002 when they won their first championship. Patrick Smith/Getty Images Once again, the lackluster score is really only a small portion of why this was a horrible Super Bowl. Incompetent play from two phenomenal offenses, a lack of drama and intrigue, mixed with an unlikable winner ultimately made Super Bowl 53 one of the most forgettable in the league’s history. What did you think about this year’s Super Bowl? Was it as bad as people are saying or are we overreacting? View the full article
  18. A massive outcry for justice rose out of Jussie Smollett's attack by "MAGA supporters." The incident is currently under investigation as a hate crime as the details of the case point to homophobia and racism being part of the assailants' intentions. While the story develops and makes rounds in updated headlines, Azealia Banks comments on how the public's response to the violence may be a tool wielded by the DNC. Kevin Winter/Getty Images "Sorry...this is all promotion for the next season of empire/propaganda to make sure black for the DNC next go round," she wrote in her IG Stories, "Loads of black people didn't vote at all in the 2016 election which worked in Trump's favor." The foundation of her claim is supported by 2016 election statistics. Voxreported: "The black voter turnout rate declined for the first time in 20 years in a presidential election, falling to 59.6% in 2016 after reaching a record-high 66.6% in 2012." The rest of her claims past the initial premise are conjecture that complements the right-wing perception of leftists' sensibilities. Banks views Smollett's call for his community to be "Gayer and Blacker" and the diffusion of his message through media as another example of "democratic strategy to keep control over the black vote by exploiting our Uber-emotional self-pride." Banks goes on to encourage her following to vote for the GOP and avoid the "kryptonite" that is Hollywood. View her full theory below. View the full article
  19. Last week the New York Knicks shocked the basketball world by trading their 7'3" superstar Kristaps Porzingis to the Dallas Mavericks in exchange for some cap space and Dennis Smith Jr. as well as DeAndre Jordan. While Porzingis is out with an ACL injury, he is already being acclimated to Dallas and in a new press conference with Mavs owner Mark Cuban, it is being revealed that he intends to play in Texas long-term. According to ESPN, Porzingis was asked if he wants to play in Dallas for the long haul, Cuban interjected saying "I can answer that for you. Yeah, he does." Porzingis than followed up by saying "We're on the same page. Don't even ask." Later on, in the press conference, Porzingis talked about the possibilities and opportunities that are available with the Mavs. Christian Petersen/Getty Images "I get excited every time I think about it," Porzingis said. "I really think we can be something special. I think about basketball 24/7, and I really see us being very special on the court and fun to watch, so I'm excited about it." ESPN then caught up to Cuban after the presser to ask if he's worried that Porzingis may eventually sign elsewhere. "It's not a concern I have," Cuban said to ESPN. "Everything so far, all the conversations so far, have been very positive. Unless it's something that we don't expect pops up, hopefully, he'll be a Maverick for the next 20 years." The Mavericks are ranked 12th in the Western Conference with a record of 24-28. View the full article
  20. Soulja Boy effectively regained relevance in 2019 through the power of memes and trolling. He's currently occupying a space that Tekashi 6ix9ine left vacant. Although people still aren't really checking for his music, you can rest assured that Big Draco is bringing in heaps of cash from endorsement deals and solid marketing. The rapper ventured into the world of video gaming, becoming one of the first to launch his own console out of the music industry. He's been all over the news for his viral rant about Tyga and his subsequent "DRAAAAKE?!" sound bite and now, it's time for him to troll the Los Angeles Rams. Maury Phillips/Getty Images Anybody watching the game last night can attest to the fact that there was not much going on. It was probably one of the most boring Super Bowl games in recent memory. Fans of defensive forces were likely excited about the low-scoring outcome but casual fans could not have been more disappointed. Soulja Boy voiced his displeasure on Instagram by photoshopping himself onto the field with his infamous Gucci headband and a New England jersey, captioning the pic: "THE RAMSSSSSS?" Clearly, Draco was rooting for Tom Brady to clinch another Super Bowl victory. This is becoming a trend. Whenever something or someone makes a fool out of themselves, Soulja will be there to comment. 21. Ever since Kim Kardashian had a conversation with Jack Dorsey at Kanye West's birthday party about incorporating an edit button on Twitter, it seems like the idea has been more in motion than ever. After previously explaining how the social media platform is perfecting it and how it can't be rushed out, Jack has now chatted with Joe Rogan on his podcast discussing the topic further. Describing how it may possibly work, Jack said: "You could build it such that maybe we introduce a five-second to 30-second delay in the sending, and within that window, you can edit." Letting users edit after the window "takes that real-time nature and the conversational flow out of it." As for the reason why the edit button isn't up and running now, Jack told Joe it's because he and his co-founders were "born on SMS." As the number of characters increase, more users will want to be able to edit their posts - which is fair. The duo even talked about the company's plan to remove the visibility of someone's follower count, where Jack previously stated how it's not important. "I don't think that's the number you should be focused on. I think what is more important is the number of meaningful conversations you're having on the platform. How many times do you receive a reply?" Watch the full conversation below. View the full article
  22. Demi Lovato faced a serious amount of backlash after she tweeted, "So far 21 Savage memes have been my favorite part of the Super Bowl." Twitter users bombarded her with jokes about her addiction while others wished that she overdosed. Boosie Badazz didn't roast her on Twitter but he did take to Instagram to call her out for her hypocrisy. Alberto E. Rodriguez/Getty Images Boosie didn't take Demi Lovato's tweet lightly. In fact, he asked her how she felt when people were clowning her on social media over her addiction issues. "WAS IT FUNNY WHEN SOCIAL MEDIA WAS CALLING U A CAREER JUNKIE A COUPLE MONTHS BACK... U LAUGHING... WELL WE LAUGH AT JUNKIES N THE HOOD SMH #spendsomething#cluckheadasshoe HERION A HELLUVA DRUG BABY," he wrote. "U BEEN A JUNKIE SINCE DISNEY." Demi's tweet warranted responses from many people in the rap game including 21 Savage's manager, Kei, who said she was disappointed that Demi Lovato found 21's situation amusing. She said, "Damn. Wewas def Demi Lovato fans. When she was going through her shit I remember being on the tour bus and Savage said I hope she make it through that shit. People r weird bro." She added, "Just like I didn’t think the memes about Demi’s drug addiction were funny — I don’t think the memes about Savage are funny. Both are very serious issues." View the full article
  23. Given their scope and commercial viability, Marvel Cinematic Universe movies have become somewhat of a hot commodity. At this point, Marvel properties have amassed a vast roster of talent, with heavyweight names like Robert Downey Jr, Josh Brolin, Brie Larsen, Michael B. Jordan, and more lining up to contribute to Stan Lee's cause. Yet not every actor is susceptible to the sheen. Least of all beloved everyman and noted badass Keanu Reeves, who has recently been taking names and kicking ass across a pair of John Wick movies. Anybody who has seen Keanu's behind-the-scenes gun training can vouch for the man's dedication. Of course, he previously expressed the same aptitude for combat during The Matrix, and has since developed a reputation for doing his own stunts. Seeing as John Wick allows him to dole out ass-whoopings through a variety of means - from bare-handed, to gunfire, to a fu*king pencil - the role must be somewhat of a playground for the Canadian actor. It has recently been revealed that Keanu was initially coveted by Marvel execs for a role in the upcoming Captain Marvel. More specifically, the role of Captain Marvel's "alien mentor" Yon-Rogg, now set to be portrayed by Jude Law. At the time, however, Keanu had to turn the role down, as he already has prior commitments to the third installment of John Wick. But let's be honest. It's quite possible Keanu would have made the same decision without any contractual obligations. At this point, he and John Wick feel like one and the same. 25. The details surrounding 21 Savage and Young Nudy's arrest last night are still scarce. Whatever details have emerged may be painting an inaccurate picture. DJ BJ, Young Nudy's DJ and an associate of 21 Savage, took to Twitter last night to dispute some of the "facts" that have surfaced pertaining to ICE's detainment of 21 Savage. Kevin Winter/Getty Images According to reports, 21 Savage and Young Nudy were in the same car when they were arrested in what's been described as a "targeted operation." However, DJ BJ refuted those claims along with reports that said the Atlanta Police Department were the ones who originally arrested the rapper. "Fake news. Savage and Nudy won't even in the same car. Don't let media lie to y'all." He continued to urge the media to do a better job at fact-checking their reports, writing, "Again. Savage and Nudy were in separate cars...and it wasn't even APD. Y'all doing some horrible reporting and investigating." Farley later reported that a spokesperson for ICE "unequivocally denied" a quote claiming that Savage's public persona is "false." The spokesperson added, "that's 100% people twisting his words." 21 Savage's arrest came a few days after he performed in Atlanta for Bud Light's Super Bowl Music Fest in Atlanta. We'll keep you posted on details surrounding 21 Savage and Young Nudy's situation. View the full article
