  1. Until you've been remodeled in CGI plasticine, you don't what it's like to live inside a game cartridge. Keanu Reeves would be the fits to tell you, it's no simple task. At this year's E3 summit, Keanu was on hand to reveal his involvement in Cyberpunk 2077 - the latest video game titled produced under the watchful eye of CD Projekt Red. The Polish game developer is widely regarded as an industry leader in the field of "creative role-playing" as illustrated by the success of their Witcher series, spanning 4 successive titles. Not only did Keanu Reeves reveal his own participation at E3; he also cut the red ribbon on Cyberpunk 2077's flashy new trailer. To everyone's surprise (gathered in the crowd), Keanu was among the characters depicted in the game, or in the very least, an uncanny resemblance to a vigilante someone or other. Keanu's unspoken mysticism seems to have played a role in preparing him up for his jump into the pixelated world. As per Keanu' speech notes, Cyberpunk 2077 players will be given the chance to assume the mantle of an "enhanced mercenary working in the sleazy underbelly of the city." The game is slated for release on April 16th, 2020. Check out the theatrical trailer and hit us with your thoughts. [Via] View the full article
  2. It is being reported that a helicopter crashed atop a building in Midtown Manhattan today. There are very few details at the moment but witnesses are said to have heard rumblings in the area, noticing heavy amounts of smoke coming from an office building. The crash landing reportedly took place atop a building at 787 7th Ave, which was confirmed by the New York Fire Department. The helicopter was initially described as an airplane but recent reports make it clear that it was a helicopter. As we previously mentioned, there are no details regarding the people involved in the crash or any injuries or fatalities. Those near the scene of the crash have been posting photos and videos of the aftermath. It appears as though the aircraft crashed into the office building's roof. Right now, several emergency vehicles are on the scene, investigating what went down. New York governor Andrew Cuomo has already addressed the crash, saying, "The only indication was a helicopter had to do an emergency or a hard landing, or crashed onto the rooftop of a building...There's no indication of anything more than that." As more information becomes available, we will update you. For now, stay safe. [via] View the full article
  3. LeBron James has reportedly had some difficulty finding NBA stars to appear alongside him in the upcoming Space Jam sequel, but it looks like he finally has a commitment. And it comes from a soon-to-be free agent who will certainly be on the Los Angeles Lakers' radar this summer. According to FOX Sports' Jason McIntyre, Golden State Warriors All Star Klay Thompson is "locked in" for a role in Space Jam 2. "Everybody thinks (Klay) is probably staying with the Warriors, and I would agree with that," McIntyre said, per NBC Sports. "But I heard some news this week that could change things -- that Klay Thompson is now locked in to do 'Space Jam 2.' I don't think that news is anywhere. I Googled it last night, I went on the Internet. Nobody has it. I do believe an announcement will come out after the Finals that Klay Thompson is committed to 'Space Jam 2,' he will be in the movie." Tatiana Siegel of The Hollywood Reporter recently reported that fellow NBA superstars Stephen Curry (Under Armour) and James Harden (Adidas) likely won't take part in the film because of their brand affiliations. Thompson isn't a Nike athlete either, he reps for ANTA, but FOX Sports' Jason McIntyre seems confident that won't prevent him from appearing in Space Jam 2. Giannis Antetokounmpo has already turned down an invitation to be in the sequel and Kevin Durant, another fellow Nike athlete, is reportedly more interested in pursuing his own media projects, which includes the Apple series "Swagger," inspired by his AAU playing days. Space Jam 2 won't hit theaters until July 16, 2021 - but you can check out the entertaining Space Jam 2 x NBA 2K trailer here. View the full article
  4. The brains behind Superbad, Sausage Party and Neighbors are back again to drop off another comedy hit dubbed Good Boys. The R-rated film follows a trio of middle schoolers who get invited to a party but freak out once they realize they don't know how to kiss. As a way to gain tips, Max (Brady Noon) steals his dad's drone to spy on neighbors who they think are kissing. "But when things go ridiculously wrong, the drone is destroyed. Desperate to replace it before Max’s dad gets home, the boys skip school and set off on an odyssey of epically bad decisions involving some accidentally stolen drugs, frat-house paintball, and running from both the cops and terrifying teenage girls," the video description reads. The film is directed by Gene Stupnitsky, known for his writing chops on The Office. Gene previously spoke about his middle school days, detailing how they were just as uncomfortable as the film may depict. "Yeah, middle school was not sentimental, it was horrible," he said. "I think it's everyone’s toughest years." The film hits theaters on August 16th - peep the official trailer below and let us know if you're into it. View the full article
  5. A few moments ago, Chris Brown announced a monster tour to promote his upcoming album, enlisting a ton of talent to open up for him. When the tour was first mentioned, Breezy announced that it would be happening in the fall with none other than Nicki Minaj. Fans of both artists were excited to witness a joint concert featuring both vocalists, counting down the days until an official announcement with dates arrived. Well, we've got that official announcement but curiously enough, Nicki Minaj is nowhere to be found on the card. Instead, she was seemingly replaced by Joyner Lucas, Tory Lanez, Ty Dolla $ign and Yella Beezy. It came as a surprise to many of Nicki Minaj's fans when she was not mentioned for the upcoming tour. People are wondering what happened and considering her recent hiatus from social media and the public eye, the Barbz are getting increasingly worried. Now that she's been left off of the INDIGOAT tour, Nicki's fans are trying to figure out where she's been at. The most common response is that she's hiding a pregnancy. That would make sense because, after her Met Gala appearance, she dropped off the face of the Earth. People also noticed that she looked a little different than usual. Her removal from the tour could be to give her time to rest and prepare for the possible birth of her first child. If that's not the case, then people are seriously confused and will need some help. What do you think is going on with Nicki? Will you still be going to the tour without her? View the full article

  7. Tiffany Boone has decided to speak up for the first time since registering complaints about her The Chi co-star Jason Mitchell. Boone took to social media to post a handwritten thank you to fans for their outpour of support and positivity. Fans have continued their support by reacting positively to the post, showing ample amounts of love and praise in her comments section. The message reads: “I’ve never spent a lot of time on social media but I wanted everyone that has sent me positivity over the last few weeks to know – I FELT IT. I am so appreciative of all the love, prayers, and support. I love you! I thank you!” Tiffany Boone was among multiple actresses on the set of Showtime’s The Chi who took issue with Mitchell’s behavior. She registered several complaints regarding sexual harassment and eventually informed producers from Fox 21 that she would no longer be willing to work with Mitchell. Jason Mitchell has since been fired from The Chi and the upcoming Netflix film Desperados. Matt Winkelmeyer/Getty Images View the full article

  9. Few can deny that Buffalo is putting out some of the grimiest bars in modern-day hip-hop, thanks in part to the work of Westside Gunn, Conway, Benny The Butcher, and the emerging Che' Noir. The young lyricist was originally put on my radar after seeing Wayno big up The Thrill Of The Hunt 2 on Everyday Struggle, and it didn't take long to realize his recommendation had validity. Upon queuing up the first song, the Biblically-titled "head Of Goliath," it soon became evident that Noir is deadly with the bars. Shades of Rah Digga and Lauryn Hill paired over absolutely filthy production, boom-bap drums with menacing medieval musicality. Highlight tracks like "Fountain Of Youth" and "Spin The Bottle" will likely win fans over, especially those naturally inclined toward impeccable lyricism and the lost art of punchline rap. Upon listening to The Thrill Of The Hunt 2, it's clear that Che' is a rapper's rapper, with little to no interest in chasing tired, contemporary mainstream trends. Expect big things to come. 10. Four weeks ago, Kanye West and Kim Kardashian welcomed home the newest addition to their family. Enlisting the help of a surrogate, Psalm West was born and finally, the first close-up photo of their little angel is here. It took a few weeks but Kim Kardashian decided to let us all into her home, sharing a picture of Psalm taking a nap. Kim K started off her week by debuting the first close-up photo of her newborn son, posting a beautiful shot of Psalm while he slept. People are excited to see Psalm for the first time after the family teased fans with a photo of him from far away. Now, we get to see who he looks more like. Kim seems to think that he borrows more of Kanye's looks, remarking so in the caption by writing, "Psalm Ye." Commenters are already obsessed with the newborn, noting how he looks just like Chicago West, his older sister. Raymond Hall/Getty Images The first photo that was posted of Psalm was actually removed from the internet after Kim faced backlash for her son's sleeping position. Apparently, the way he was sleeping could have triggers SIDS. Kardashian made sure this new picture showed Psalm in a more appropriate position, laying on his back with his arms behind his head. Who do you think Psalm looks more like? Kanye or Kim? Let us know in the comments. View the full article
  11. New Orleans Pelicans executive vice president of basketball operations, David Griffin, has reportedly reached out to several teams interested in trading for Anthony Davis and provided them with a framework of the package the team is hoping to get in return. According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, this also includes multi-team trade scenarios. Wojnarowski writes: "Griffin is pursuing a combination of assets that include an All-Star player, a young player with All-Star potential and two first-round picks, league sources said. Those wants are on a sliding scale. For example, the better the player, the softer the requests on the draft picks -- and vice versa." Wojnarowski says Griffin has not laid out a specific timetable for when a deal needs to be completed, although he has expressed a desire to acquire any 2019 draft picks days before the rapidly approaching June 20 NBA Draft, giving the team ample time to closely examine potential draft picks. Among the teams inquiring about the 26-year old superstar: the Brooklyn Nets, Los Angeles Lakers, Los Angeles Clippers and New York Knicks. Last season, New Orleans reportedly turned down a blockbuster deal with the Lakers that included Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram and Kyle Kuzma, as well as several draft picks. The Lakers own the fourth overall pick in the upcoming NBA Draft. During a recent appearance on The Sedano Show, ESPN's Dave McMenamin noted that the Pelicans appear to be "really high" on Ingram, as well as the overall trade package that was rejected in February. McMenamin says (h/t CBS Sports): "I spoke to several people within the Pelicans' organization in the past several months that have a really high opinion of Brandon Ingram, and beyond just Brandon Ingram, have a really high opinion of the trade package that was on the table that was ultimately rejected."
