Something is better then nothing! ;)

It has gotten bad on the consumers end too. I was at the store the other day wondering if I should buy a CD or just download it from Limewire. I found it hard to justify paying $12.99 for something I could get for free, regardless of legality. Obviously the consumer would prefer to get their music online, legally or not. What needs to be done is a serious shifting of pricing. It seems that they are charging roughly 99 cents per track. If you are downloading a 10-12 track album then that is a fair price. If you are downloading a 17-18 track album for $17-18 when it would be $13 in the store, then of course it is a horrible price. The record industry's unwillingness to lower prices is the main reason people are finding alternate means to get their music. As far as Congress, I have no real opinion. They do what the major corporations "will" them to do.

I think I would rather spend $13 on a CD, or $20 on a DVD, then do jail time.

Can't wait to see it!! I watched "I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry" last night and I must say, it was a good movie. If "The Simpsons Movie" can blow it out of the water then it must be good. I grew up watching the Simpsons and was excited to hear about a movie. Then it took forever to come out and I wondered if it would be any good. I guess now we know. I had a dear friend, and fellow Metalhead, email me today. She went on about how she had found a new favorite song and how great it was. She told me that I HAD to listen to it, that I was missing out. So naturally I got a little excited thinking I was going to hear a great new Metal song. I told her to email it to me right away. A few seconds later my computer informed me I had a new email...."Mail Motha Fucka!" I opened it up and found inside a quick note and an MP3 from a band called Wax Tailor. The song is titled "To Dry Up". So I pressed play and was suprised to find myself listening to a catchy hip hop beat. At first I was disappointed. Then, as the song played, it latched on to me. I was addicted. I listened four times in a row before I had to run to work. I have yet to check out any of their other songs but, from what I have heard, there is potential. They have a Myspace page (Here) but I am at work and can't access it. I suggest you do. If anyone would like me to forward the email with the MP3 just let me know or email at my email address below! How about Beat King IM? The email works great but IM'ing is much quicker.

The second setting will help to minimize distortion. I know that my laptop works better with these settings. I keep my bass down (-1) due to my music preference but you can play around with it to get it to your liking.

I always thought the Russians were a bit odd.

I chose the following lyrics not for the lyrics themselves but the message as a whole. Not only the message but the power with which it is delivered. I do not have a link to the song, but if anyone has one please add it. If you listen to the song, you can feel the anger and sadness. It is a very powerful song. I saw Angels & Airwaves in concert with Hawthorne Heights. They were the best band that played that night. I cant say that I am a fan, but I believe that their new album will be a good one. There is a lot of talent in this band and they put it to good use.

I happened to have been refered to a link (HERE) that allowed me to watch this same movie. I have yet to watch it but may give it a shot. The link will surely be gone quick. Matt My Email PS- Be aware, there is software that you must download to download the movies but as a user I can say that it is virus/spyware free and runs smoothly. A little hint, if you download any movies be sure to move them to a new folder once they are done downloading. If you do not move it, and Veoh (the site) decides to remove the movie from the site, they will also delete it off of your computer if you have the software running. Just a hint.

Its crazy that a name as big as Chris Cornell is opening for Linkin Park. I remmeber listening to Soundgarden when I was in grade school. They were always near the top of the charts. Then came the monster that was Audioslave. I guess it's LP's time to shine! Should be an awesome show.

This is when you step back and say, "Do I really want to keep touring and doing this to my body?" KISS has always had a big stage show to go along with the music. Maybe they need to think of calling it quits or revising their shows. They are old, but they still rock. I wish only the best for Mr. Stanley and the band. Matt My Email
