:guns2:Views of A Metalhead:guns2: Im personally a fan of the late '70s and '80s because thats when Metal really came into its own and began to flourish. Metal kicked off in the late '60s with bands like Led Zepplin and Black Sabbath but it wasn't until the '70s that it took off. The New Wave Of British Heavy Metal kicked off and metal grew and grew. Being a young gun (23), I am also a fan of the newer stuff. I am an admited Metalcore and Hardcore fan. I can even tolerate Nu-Metal at times. Diversity through individualism is what music is all about. If every band played "text-book" Metal then we would have nothing but the same music all the time. I like that bands are branching out, experimenting, and evolving. Sure, there are the purists out there that will disagree with new music, but thats fine with me. I love music, new and old, and that wont change.

I have about 1300 songs on ITunes but they all have a play count above 10. I need some ideas for some new music. What I am asking for is 3-5 songs, any genre, that I should check out. Thanks to all... Matt My Email

I cant say that I listened to the soundtrack of ANY of those movies, shame. I did however watch a few and I would say that Ray was my favorite as far as an in movie soundtrack. The Resident Evil movie had a few good songs as well.

No worries Shawn, I don't believe I would spend much time on the CMT website anyway. I was just hoping for a song or two, something to get me reacquainted with Country music. I have a few redneck buddies that should be able to help me out here! Thanks for the links anyway!

Does he do it to raise a point or to gain publicity (money)? I just feel he goes over the top and attacks people unfairly. I don't deny that he has raised some good points, I just feel he goes about it in the wrong way.

I have to admit that I haven't listened to any new country music in a number of years now. The last "new" album I bought that was country would have to be Mud on the Tires by Brad Paisley.
