  1. What I want to know is, how the hell did you find this? Must have been one hell of a search term. What were you expecting to find?
  2. I thought it was that he got hurt doing that horse movie................... "seabiscuit" or something (couldn't think of the name of the movie) and so he couldn't practice and stuff. They thought he was faking. As soon as they told him he was going to be replaced, he said he wasn't hurt anymore.
  3. Here is a little trivia for you. Jake Gyllenhaal, the kid from Donnie Darko and The Day After Tommorow is Kirsten Dunst's real life boyfriend. When Spiderman 2 was starting the filming process, Tobey Maguire was hurt and the studio thought he was holding out for more money, so they said they were going to replace him with Jake Gyllenhaal. They actually had him training and everything. Tobey miracuosly recovered and got the part back.
  4. Well I saw it. No spoilers, I promise. Graphics were awesome, especially when cars were in the air for whatever reason. Story was there, especially as it went on. Acting was up to par, though some of the characters won't get the screen time you want out of them. It followed suit well with the first one. I'd definetly recommend it. I think the highlight of the movie, outside of the action of course, was the comedy side of it. It didn't take itself too seriously and I think that was important. Anyway go and see it. There was a full house tonight and no one was disappointed. Anyone else see it. Potato, I know you did... What did you think?
  5. You speak as if I am some kind of noob. You didn't take into account the fact that some of us are on hubs where we all tend to download the same things and this would be of a great advantage. If one person gets something, by the next day everyone has it. I personally have used DC since the beginning and my main two hubs both revolve around my college as of right now. The first is i2hub and the second is a private college hub that we have. Currently I share over 200 gigs in there, which I realize isn't a lot these days, but it's what I have. Now I use DC for rare stuff just like you and I agree that hashing something that only you and maybe one other guy may have doesn't make sense at all. I can tell you though, if you see hundreds at the i2hub, who are afraid to use anything else, rushing for a new file and everyone downloading the same thing for the next few days. Say for example a new movie, then the need for swarming comes in. I realize all of the disadvantages and that the world would be better off without it, but they have it implemented and I don't like to fall behind. I could see it being useless for say someone who had 250 gigs of music that no one had ever heard of, but what about being on a college hub where everyone has the same files?
  6. I take the time to post it so people can use it. Not so that they can tell me every reason it should not have been posted. People who cry about the hashing I can deal with, I won't even say get a computer better suited to handle it. People who cry about it being unstable had best not make the claim to being an advanced user or a real file sharer in my opinion. How is it ever supposed to get tested and become better if people run off instead of sitting down and trying it?
  7. To tell you the truth man, I don't even know. No one in their right mind would use DC anymore anyway. That is if they knew how to configure other clients. DC just lacks the features that these mods have.
  8. Do you like Blackest Eyes? I actually just got a copy of "In Absentia" by PT, in a bunch of files I got recently. I really like Porcupine Tree, but will give that a listen. It's so hard to keep up with all the great music out there. I always feel like I am just skimming the surfice. But it's all fun ;-) Let me know what you think of it. It's a great song in my opinion.
  9. Remeber this one? french military victories type that in and go to the first page.
  10. For multi user downloading, I usually wait for http://www.revconnect.com to catch up to the new DC++ release. They usually do a good job with it.
  11. I actually enjoy the crowd here. It's good conversation and a break from my unconcious like habit of trying to help people. Besides if I want a forum full of really dumb people who want help, I could always login to Neowin. :)
  12. I hope this goes over better here than it does when I post it at ZP. I either hear that they don't want to use an unstable release or they don't like the 4.x hashing.
  13. Would you prefer I went back to not talking? :) Dude keeps posting all of these interesting things and bringing up all of these interesting ideas, I can't help by follow suit since he and I seem to have the same sleeping habits and end up being the only two online at some points.
  14. Try Midlife Crisis, A Small Victory, and Kindergarten. That is all off from Angel Dust.
  15. I don't remember where I saw this place first, but they are one of Ebay's stores and they run cheap tickets most of the time. There are not a lot, but you can maybe find something close to you. http://stores.ebay.com/getAccessEvents I'm waiting for Darien Lake Warped Tour tickets right now since it's like an hour from my college and all of my friends want to go and meet up there. I figured what the hell.
  16. I was just throwing that out because I saw people complaining. http://www.zeropaid.com/bbs/showthread.php?t=21054&page=2 (towards the bottom)
  17. Make sure you have .Net installed if you use it and that you read their forums. they have a lot of useful info on the program. A couple of people were having problems with this when I posted it on Zeropaid, but they came up with the conclusion that not having .Net was causing it.
  18. How the hell do they find out stuff like this? Do you just randomly one day say hey, lets try using the cactus for hangovers? Perhaps someone got drunk and tried to eat the cactus. :) Edit: Hail Dude.
  19. Well if anyone missed it, there is a radio rip floating around on Suprnova. Perhaps it can tide over everyone who wants to hear it until the album comes out. I'm really looking forward to this album.
  20. It's the guy who directed Event Horizon, Mortal Kombat, and Resident Evil. http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0027271/ Not the best list of movies, but they were all good enough to sit through. This one looks really good though. Check out all the trailers at http://www.apple.com/trailers/
  21. You know what movie I am actually really looking forward to... Alien Vs. Predator. It looks like a pure carnage fest and I can live with that. When I first heard they were doing the movie, I figured it's going to suck big time. Then I saw that they picked a halfway decent cast of people who are up and coming in movies, along with the guy who originally played Bishop in Aliens and Alien 3 (Lance Henrikson or however you spell it). I've seen three trailers now and it looks like it is just going to be a fun movie to watch. I don't expect a story or award worthy acting, but simply just enough action to entertain me. They seem to want to stick with what worked in the first Predator and the first two aliens, which was scary moments and stealth attacks. Could be worth a look when it comes out.
  22. I saw The Day After Tommorow in theaters. They um... Forgot to add a story line? Did you notice that Ken? Some bs weather started and a lot of people died. That was really all I noticed.
  23. It was $2.30 here in NY for me, but now I just saw it at $2.15... Oh Boy...
  24. Damn. Good post Meth, i think I missed it though. Stupid naps. I just had to pass out for a couple of hours. I love the Prodigy. I can't wait for their new album. They talked about it for long enough, it's about time they actually did it.
