I used to be in a rock band called Ancient Grace. Now..I sing more blues/jazz stuff in the studio. You really do have a very pretty voice ... :) (Sorry, it's been a long 16 hr work day... )\ I hate the fact that it notes when I edit my post.. :rolleyes:

Ireland is a pretty country. I've been living rural for 15 years or so.... and the current house move is into the centre of town so it's going to be a big change but I'm told the streets are paved with gold. :psychofun: If I hate it... I'll go rural again next year. Your street looks like a friendly place to live Warflower :) Umma: Ireland *sigh*...I've always wanted to go there...my husband's family are from there. Mine are Sicilian (want to go there tooo one day come to think of it). Yep, my street is friendly...we look after each other. We like to stoop it (sit on the stairs in front of the house and bullshit, have a few beers, watch the kids running around). I'll post pics of this year's party (Aug 7) when I'm able to. We had a big double rainbow here last week after a few hours of thunderstorms moved through....a beautiful sight. It really is...I was mesmerized by it...waited until faded. I don't know about this one: looks like it was touched up..

I remember my first cigarette, 6th grade at St. Stans...we used to go around the corner to the "lots" to hang out and smoke...I remember coughing, and feeling dizzy. Why the hell I continued after that? I wanted to be like the other girls...they were older...cooler...then came all the other shit...pot, dust, lsd, ludes..you name it...of course, that was later in life (high school) and that continued for a while (college)...I still smoke cigarettes...stop every once in a while but always go back. I feel like a hyprocrite when I talk to my kids about it...they just roll their eyes at me..."yeah...oookkkk". I tell them: It's very difficult to quit, one of the most difficult and scary things you'll ever face in your life IF YOU BEGIN. In the back of your mind there's always that lingering thought...what the fvck am I doing? I'm smarter than this...I could REALLY get sick. la di da..... One thing: I agree that cold turkey is the way to go...and I'll do it AGAIN :rolleyes: but for good? who knows....I still enjoy it.
