2. "Iron" Mike Tyson did it twice. The legendary pugilist and "Hangover" movie series co-star has the distinction of being in the Pro Boxing Hall of Fame as well as The WWE Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame. The Brooklyn native was officially given the honor by the WWE tonight at the American Airlines Arena in Miami. He was inducted by DeGeneration X members Shawn Michaels and Triple H. "The baddest man on the planet is now the baddest Hall of Famer on the planet," Triple H said before he and Michaels introduced Iron Mike. Tyson had a short, but impactful stint with the WWE. I4 years ago, Tyson was the special "Enforcer" during Michaels' Heavyweight Title Defense against "Stone Cold" Steve Austin. Tyson counted Michael's shoulders to the mat as Austin pinned him. Austin's first title run was instrumental in the WWE finally overtaking then rival company WCW in their historic "Monday Night Wars" for ratings supremacy with their respective weekly cable shows. Tyson joins the likes of Bob Ueker and Pete Rose in the WWE's "Celebrity Wing" of their Hall of Fame. Shawn Michaels aka "The Heartbreak Kid"--who has been referenced by such artists over the years as 50 Cent, Redman and Kirko Bangz in various rap songs--could barley hold back his laughter Triple H joked about Tyson's "knockout" of HBK at Mania 14. Michaels said Triple H deviated from the plan and they were supposed to make fun of the boxer's voice and his infamous ear biting incident with Evander Holyfield. Tyson kept the mood light with jokes of his own when he took the stage. "I always wanted to be a wrestler before they turned it into WWE," he said of the company that used to be named WWF. "I never got the opportunity, I got arrested!" After laughing with the audience Tyson reminded everyone "I'm still here." "This is so exciting, this is so overwhelming," he added during a serious moment. Adding he grew up watching grappling greats such as Bruno Samartino, The Moondogs and Captain Lou Albano." Later Tyson laughed that his children were excited to come to the WWE Hall of Fame Ceremony but they didn't want to come to his Boxing Hall of Fame induction. Tyson really cracked himself up when he started making fun of Wrestler/actor/former rapper John Cena. "I didn't know John Cena was black.," he said with a huge chuckle. "He throws gang signs.... I start ducking when you throw those signs." Of course Tyson was playfully referencing Cena's in the ring signature "You Can't See Me" gestures which is a mimmick of Tony Yayo's famous dance. "Dusty Rhodes is black too!" said Tyson before ending his speech. Also inducted into WWE's Hall of Fame tonight were Mil Mascaras, Yokozuna, Ron Simmons, Edge and The Four Horsemen. If you watched wrestling back in the late 80s you know The Horsemen especially their leader Ric Flair had a heavy influence on hip-hop- - even up to this day - with their decadent lifestyles of "Jet Flyin'" "Limousine Ridin'" Rolexx Wearin'" and of course "Wheelin' And Dealin'." Of course all the festivities this weekend are a build up to Sunday's WrestleMania XXVIII at Miami's Sun Life Stadium. The huge marquee match is John Cena Vs hometown hero turned megastar The Rock. Fellow M.I.A. Native Flo Rida will accompany The Rock to the ring tomorrow night. View the full article

 6. The file-hosting business has been in a permanent state of chaos since the Megaupload shutdown in January. Many sites were quick to remove their affiliate programs and some went as far as blocking visitors from the US entirely. It’s clear that site owners are concerned that their business might become a target, and if it’s up to the major movie studios this fear is justified. “We continue to make criminal referrals,” Paramount Pictures’ Alfred Perry said during the On Copyright conference in New York yesterday. CNET reports that the Paramount Pictures produced a list of five “rogue” file-hosters, presented in a fancy graphic where Megaupload is crossed out. The prime targets on this shutdown list are Fileserve, MediaFire, Wupload, Putlocker and Depositfiles. The movie studio claims that these “rogue” cyberlockers receive 41 billion page views a year, which translates to five views for every person on the planet. The Shutdown List In recent months the MPAA has criticized the business models of these and other cyberlockers on many occasions. Last November, for example, we got our hands on an MPAA fact sheet titled“It’s All About the Money: The ‘Business’ Model of Rogue Cyberlockers” with an overview of the several affiliate programs some cyberlockers have in place. According to the MPAA these programs motivate users to share copyrighted material, thereby promoting piracy. “Rogue cyberlockers aren’t just distribution hubs for stolen movies and TV shows – both the users who upload content and the operators who run the sites can earn money from doing so. As Internet video traffic grows, the threat from rogue cyberlockers that profit from stolen content is rising rapidly,” the MPAA explains in the document. This fact sheet will most likely be forwarded to the Department of Justice with every new “rogue” cyberlocker that the MPAA reports. Whether the Department of Justice will act on new referrals from the movie studios has yet to be seen. For now they have their hands full on Megaupload, whose founder told TorrentFreak that his defense teams is working on a killer motion in response to the “nonsense” US indictment. 7. Joe Budden was noticeably absent from Slaughterhouse's Thursday night show in New York City because the New Jersey rapper was arrested for a traffic violation stemming from a 2007 incident. In an interview with Fuse TV, Budden addressed the arrest, explaining that the situation didn't come to his attention until it was too late. “I'm pretty cut and dry about," Budden told Fuse. "It was an unpaid ticket, bench warrant; and when there's a bench warrant they catch you when they can catch you." Slaughterhouse Films 'Hammer Dance' Video In Austin "And it just so happens we had a sold out show at Best Buy Theater, and that's where the decided to catch me...I always perform in New York," he continued. "The bottom line of it is if I would have known about the situation it would have been cleared up, but I didn't. It had never popped up before and I had gone through the system a few times.” Slaughterhouse Show Recap: On Thursday night, just a few minutes after 10 p.m. Joell Ortiz opened the Slaughterhouse show at the Best Buy Theater by reciting his verse to the group's fan-favorite "The Illest." Long Beach, California MC Crooked I followed, but there was a visible absence. The DJ cued up "Sound Off" next and Royce da 5'9" marched out spewing his patented Detroit venom, but with three quarters of the Slaughterhouse machine on stage, Joe Budden's absence was glaring. It was then that Slaughterhouse announced their outspoken bandmate had been arrested by the NYPD. In full support, the crowd began to shout "Joey, Joey, Joey," without any prompting from Joell, Crook or Nickel Nine. The group then went into a portion of their infamous 2011 B.E.T. Hip-Hop Award Show cypher. Joell spit his verse and then went into his solo underground gem "Hip-Hop." Budden was missed, but the now-three-headed lyrical Shady Records monster carried on.There was no "Pump It Up" or Mood Muzik verses, but Budden's band of brothers still repped performing their solo hits as well as posse cuts like "Microphone" and "Hammer Dance." That didn't stop the crowd from chanting for Joe Budden. "We love Joey too, chanting for him ain't gonna get him outta jail," Royce responded. 8. By Sowmya Krishnamurthy Bobbi Kristina, the daughter of late singer Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown, is becoming a celebrity in her own right. The 19-year-old has been cast in a recurring role in Tyler Perry’s family sitcom "Better or Worse," according to People. The series is based on Perry's 2007 film "Why Did I Get Married?" and its sequel "Why Did I Get Married Too?" Radar reports that Bobbi will play the daughter of one of the stylists who works in the salon run by actress Tasha Smith. The second season of "Better or Worse" is set to premiere in July on TBS. Bobbi Kristina Inherits Whitney Houston's Estate Bobbi Kristina shared with Oprah on “Oprah’s Next Chapter” that she had plans to “carry on the legacy” of her late mother. "We're gonna do the singing thing. Some acting, some dancing," Bobbi Kristina said. "It's a lot of pressure, but she prepared me for it." Whitney Houston was found dead at the age of 48 in a Beverly Hills hotel room on February 11 and she was laid to rest in her hometown of Newark, New Jersey, on February 18. Tyler Perry was among the stars on hand to pay homage to her at the funeral services. Since Whitney’s death, Bobbi Kristina has been at the center of media attention. Most recently, rumors swirled that Bobbi Kristina was engaged to Nick Gordon, her adopted brother of sorts. 11. Troubled international media giant News Corporation felt the ice crack beneath its feet this week after years of enduring ill winds blowing from phone hacking scandals in the United Kingdom and United States. The Australian Financial Review and the BBC’s Panorama programme combined to publish a four-year investigation into the operations of News Corporation subsidiaries, unveiling damaging claims of a plot to facilitate and encourage piracy with the aim of crippling pay-television rivals. The allegations cast shadows across the main-stream media landscape, with implications for the conduct of news outlets and the arguments of anti-piracy lobby groups through to the structure of the pay-television landscape itself. The reaction of News Corporation’s 81-year-old Australian founder and CEO was swift. Rupert Murdoch used his new love of micro-blogging platform Twitter to rubbish the claims, the publishers and make implied threats of legal action against those raising the allegations. Murdoch’s sensitivity is understandable. The negative publicity generated by earlier phone hacking scandals could be alleviated in part by suggesting that if immoral – even illegal – activity had taken place, it occurred during the pursuit of journalism, however tawdry or overzealous. Using piracy as a corporate weapon to damage competitors contains no such narrow mountain trail to the moral high ground. Worse, it undermines a global campaign against piracy led by Hollywood lobby groups such as the MPAA, of whom News Corporation is a major member via its entertainment subsidiary, FOX. In Australia, the web becomes more tangled, ensnaring a current consultation process to control and limit file-sharing. Leading up to a secretive series of meetings held between the Australian Attorney-General’s department, copyright monopoly lobby groups and internet service providers, News Corporation unleashed an attack on media piracy via its local publications, as noted at the time by Torrentfreak. The articles were backed by a study commissioned by the Australian Federation Against Copyright Theft (AFACT), of whom News Corporation is a member, again via its subsidiary FOX. AFACT now has the onerous task of keeping a straight face during the closed-door discussions while it argues for the criminalisation of not-for-profit piracy as a major backer and publicity partner is embroiled in a corporate piracy scandal. The Australian pay-television market is small compared to its foreign counterparts. Until last week it contained only two major players whom largely broadcast the same limited number of channels. The tiny size of the industry has been blamed on everything from over regulation to rampant file-sharing. The new piracy allegations suggest a more sinister story. Last Friday, dominant player Foxtel, part owned by News Corporation, came a step closer to acquiring its smaller rival Austar in a $AU1.9 billion take-over which will deliver Foxtel a virtual monopoly of the cable-television market in Australia. Moves from internet outsiders such as FetchTV, Netflix and local Netflix-clone Quickflix have made inroads into the medium, but all offer limited content and Netflix currently requires Australians to circumnavigate geoblocking. Television content sold via platforms such as Itunes is also routinely geoblocked and/or suffers from unexplained inflated pricing. The US Embassy in Canberra views limited options for accessing content as a driver of piracy in Australia. Australia’s stunted pay-television market is part of this problem. Many popular television series appear months or years late, or not at all. The free-to-air television market has suffered decades of audience and revenue decline and can no longer afford to regularly syndicate high-cost content. Australians are left in a shifting half-light of what is globally popular, forever reading about new content online, watching the trailers, inadvertently seeing spoilers in social media – while often being left with no legal way of participating. The allegations against News Corporation in Australia have not been heard in any court, and may never be – the Australian Federal Police are reluctant to get involved, despite Federal Communications Minister Stephen Conroy urging the claims to be investigated. If the Panorama and Australian Financial Revue’s claims are substantiated and it is proved one of the largest media corporations in the world engaged in predatory piracy to damage rivals, the fallout will be large. News Corporation bases much of its content sales on securing paywalls and selling entry. Competitors, audiences and governments will not be happy if it is established that News Corporation’s other business model was predicated on coldly and clinically facilitating the piracy of the content of rivals. It's one of those songs you can sing in the shower when you think no one's home or yell with friends at a bar on Friday night. Apparently, it's also a great song to belt in the back of a cop car after being arrested for a DUI. At least, that's what Canadian Robert Wilkinson thought. A YouTube video of the incident recently went viral, but the song isn't a stranger to cars. Remember Wayne's World? (Who are we kidding, how could you forget?) Wayne and Garth also sing a hilarious rendition of the song while driving down the street. So, who sang it better and which will be remembered? Or should everyone stick to the original Queen version from now on? Watch them after the jump and let us know which you think is the most classic rendition. Robert Wilkinson While we're appalled at Wilkinson's actions, the video did get some laughter from us. Because he's intoxicated his words are slurred and his voice is pitchy – it's funny now, but like most viral videos, it might die off with the next YouTube sensation. Wayne's World This scene no doubt introduced a lot of the movie's fans to the song. 25. RCA By Andres Marin Usher's upcoming album Looking for Myself is scheduled to drop on June 12. Exactly two years from today he released his previous work Raymond v. Raymond, which reached number one and sold 1.3 million copies. His latest LP was teased a few months ago with the release of "Climax." The pop dance ballad gives an idea of the "revolutionary pop" style that Usher often talks about. The single, produced by Diplo, debuted on Valentines and Usher assured us that “in 9 months there are gonna be a lot of new babies that this song is responsible for." He also described “Climax” as the best “electrosoul” record he has been part of. Other producers on the album include Rico Love, Jim Jonsin, Max Martin and Salaam Remi. The album Raymond v. Raymond was said to have lots of inspiration from the singer’s recent divorce from Tameka Foster. If Usher Raymond was confronting himself then, it seems like he is now looking for self awareness. But while we wonder what the inspiration behind it may be; all we know is the single is honest, groovy, sexy and a little more mature. Usher’s seventh release comes out under RCA Records, taking over for other artists like Justin Bieber from the disappeared Jive Records, Arista Records and J Records. He's sold over 65 million records to date and the “revolutionary pop” question will remain itching until this June.
