I am a proponent of moderate drug use - for many purposes. I wasn't necessarily commenting on the treatment of alcoholism. I was curious about the use of meditation as a means to treat psychological disorders. I think if LSD can do the trick I am all for it... but think it'd also be cool to do some research to see if meditation would have a similar effect.

Nope... I doubt that :rolleyes: .. I am vegetarian.. and I am plenty healthy... it's a much healthier lifestyle than eating a bunch of dead animal carcass... :P

I watched Leno once or twice - .....HATED IT!.... but Letterman on the other hand deserves 3 snaps in 'Z' formation...... I am afraid 5 years is not nearly short enough.... But good for Conan that wacky bastard always makes me laugh...

That would be really cool but I'd rather not approach the guy when he's trying to have a quiet dinner in his hometown... Athens,GA residents are pretty good about 'ignoring' him when they see him around.. it's out of respect...

I am not sure... looks very skinny and weak.. really pale skin... bags under his eyes... I get the impression he has some chronic problems... he definitely doesn't look healthy.

I like this album... they've still got it... I see ol Michael around town every once in a while he likes to eat at a vegetarian restaurant "The Grit" that I frequent. Poor little fellow doesn't look so good these days.

I wonder if you could achieve the same results from very focused meditation....

Interesting artical... but I wish there had been more information about exactly how pslocybin improves the condition of a patient with one of these disorders/deseases.

The whole process of factory farming is inhumane and involves torture... all of which is completely UNNECASSARY!!!! ... but I guess a small price to pay for a tasty? snack...... Maybe this issue will bring about some AWARENESS.

I've got some reading, writing, and work to do this weekend.. hopefully I'll have some time to work some fun in... maybe a birthday visit.... but I am not popping out of a cake again like I did last year... plus that bow tie was a little to constrictive... as for the gadget "I" recomended... a GREAT idea but I'll have to say it's a little to 'intimate' for me... but I am sure you'll love it GYF.. if you can find someone to 'man your station' Happy 31st Birthday!!!! GYF I hope it's a fun one for ya :)

It's You, Come Around, & Don't Wait On the Rain are not to be missed.
