Ladies and Gentlemen and Children of all Ages, allow me to present to you the first call for entries for Dead Pool 4 - Two Thousand and Heaven! The 2006 competition is set to come to a nailbiting climax as several of the 41 teams entered are slugging it out for a top prize in excess of £100 - one of which is our very own Shawn (although his mailbox is full and he can't get any of the updates!) Early indications are that it's going to be another good year as a number of rule changes have been brought into play to make things that little bit more competitive. Interested? Then post here and I'll stick the rules up. In fact if you don't reply I'll probably still stick the rules up here out of spite!

I'm looking at buying my first acoustic guitar and having read up on everything the one thing I can't decide between is whether to go for a Grand Auditorium or the fatter Dreadnought style. Has anybody got any thoughts on this? Is there any/much sound difference between the two? Is there anything I need to consider that I'm not aware of? I could go and try them I guess but the local music shops are both absolute swines to get anywhere near if you don't live local - and besides I can get the same guitar for £30 less simply by buying online. All suggestions gratefully received.

I'm toying whether or not to reply to him and ask if the U2 album that came on a Limited Edition iPod ruled that ineligible for the charts and if he's realised that the uproar they've created by banning the album gives it more publicity than the stickers ever could. Alternatively I could just do what my mate did and send him an email that says "If you really think that including stickers in a Beck CD will encourage them to buy it then you must be a thick c*nt."

You'll like this: So presumably banning it from the chart won't give Beck any publicity then?

They look however you want them to look - there's just a big sheet of stickers that you put onto the sleeve. Love the one on the right! BTW Album is very good!

Ahhh but if you download it you don't get the free stickers to make your own CD cover with! Bought mine yesterday but not played it yet. It shall get spun repeatedly today no doubt!
