  1. I'll take Angelina Jolie. Sure...why not.
  2. Ohhhh,,,my aching brain....damn RD, why you gotta be all psychadelic, I've pondered this for about an hour. All I can come up with is that 2 guys from one group replace 2 guys within the same group. I'm sure there can be variants to this. I see what is happening, but I cannot explain it. I think it's just a matter of grabbing one side that has more and shifting it but having it overlap.. AHHHHHHHHH...curse you man....
  3. N.Y. College Offers Students Napster Deal ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- The University of Rochester will soon offer students free digital music from the relaunched Napster service. It is only the second college in the nation -- after Penn State University -- to enter into an agreement with Napster to provide digital music at no cost to students. The service is designed to curb students' illegal sharing of music sharing and piracy. Recording artists have filed lawsuits against people who use personal file sharing sites. The school's 3,700 on-campus students will have access, starting later this semester to Napster's collection of some 500,000 songs. Access will be extended to off-campus students, faculty and staff by the fall. "If it's sanctioned and it's legal, I'll use it," junior Robert Clemm, 21, said in Thursday's Rochester Democrat and Chronicle. But considering the high cost of a college education, Clemm said the Napster service might join "a laundry list of real or perceived wasteful spending on the part of the university." The school declined to reveal the cost of the arrangement with Napster, whose premium service usually is priced at $9.95 per customer monthly. The Napster collection was made available in January to 17,000 students living in residence halls on several Penn State campuses. The service will be offered in the fall to all 83,000 students throughout the university system. Source: Sun-Sentinel

  5. Even on the highest resolution, you couldn't stretch it far enough!
  6. Thanks man. Thanks for providing an environment for which I felt comfortable to do so.
  7. RealNetworks' media player software contains vulnerabilities that could let an attacker take control of a PC on which the software is used to download multimedia files, the company confirms. Corrupt files posing as normal music and video files could allow an attacker to gain control of the downloader's computer, the company says. However, RealNetworks stresses in a statement that, as far as it is aware, this has not yet happened. There are three vulnerabilities: files could be created that will open a Web site on the user's browser, from where remote javascript can be operated; files could be created that let the attacker download and use their code on a user's machine; or media files can be created that will create buffer overrun errors. Updates Available The problems have been fixed, and users are advised to download updates from the company's site, it says. The affected software is: RealOne Player, RealOne Player v2 for Windows only (all languages), RealOne Player 8, RealPlayer 10 Beta (English only), and RealOne Enterprise Desktop or RealPlayer Enterprise (all versions, standalone and as configured by the RealOne Desktop Manager or RealPlayer Enterprise Manager). The vulnerabilities were discovered in December by Next Generation Security Software (NGSS), in Sutton, England. RealNetworks responded reasonably quickly to the discovery, a spokesperson for NGSS says. "Some vendors take up to a year," he says. Source: Yahoo News
  8. It musta been glitching out on me..I got 75% the first time and then 100%.
  9. Mine originates from the Lord of the Dance. No, I do not like the show, quite the opposite, hence the parody. As I join forums and find these "Why'd you call yourself that?" threads, I get more insight about my choice. This is from a PM I sent: Man, today just feels like "Let It All Out Day." I can only wonder what the next page of threads has in store for me.
  10. I was wondering why I saw all this BeatKing spam on other "particular" website. I was thinking it was some ghetto thing .::BeatFactory::. was pushing, like a personal website and such. I hadn't even looked at it until DAIC provided an invite. I have to say that so far, I'm enjoying it. I dig the color selections (#4 for me), the great members and the calm, enjoyable environment. There's no stress here. Just info, music, and good times. Thanks.
  11. Either the farting horse or the Homer Simpson one. Haven't decided.
  12. What day were you planning on starting this? (;))
  13. I was spanked along with other violence. As was my brother. Due to this parental training, it eventually taught me that violence was ok. After coming back from my first-ever concert (Megadeth), I was confronted by my step-mother who had been told by my narc brother that I had went. As I was being back up into a corner in the kitchen, preparing to be "punished," something in me clicked and I swung. I ended up breaking her jaw. After being chased out of the house by my irate father, I went to a friend's house for the night. My parents lied and told the doctor she fell down the stairs. She needed metal rods placed in her jaw to correct the problem. I am not sure if they are still there. I was later confronted one day after school by my father who pulled the car over and wanted to fight me due to me having the guts to strike my step-mother. I rejected his offer. In my first, and so-far only, previous marriage, I rough-handled my wife. She called the police but decided to not press charges. I went to counseling. I had better skills to deal with a relationship. This was not enough, however. I later was babysitting my infant son and he began to cry. I didn't know how to react to the situation and only had my previous parental training to rely on. I struck him and left a mark. My wife saw it and that was the end. I went to more counseling and since then to this day I haven't struck anyone. Nor has anyone struck me. Life can be difficult. But eventually you get through it and make the best of what you have. Sometimes I wonder how I am able to keep going. But even wondering is forward momentum, although the reasoning can be circular. Sorry if this was too heavy or personal for this forum. I realize this isn't a support group and I wasn't saving this burden just for you all. I really didn't expect to see a thread such as this. I have nothing to lose by being honest. You all have given me a chance by being here, so I return the favor. Peace out.
