I wonder?

Everytime you sugest a site, I get those nasty pop-ups. Sometimes even 5 at a time.

Is that international, does everybody get these, or do i pick them up on their way to europe?

I am Blond, you see...............

Because, if you get them as well, would it be possible that you warn us?

They have told me that these are things that might carry spyware... :wha':

To be honest the browser I'm using doesn't allow pop-ups so I forget they happen.

I don't think we ever post a link in the Entertainment news that goes to a site you need worry about. Billboard, New Musical Express, Jam!, Undercover, BBC, VH1 and CMT are all pretty reputable organizations. They're the biggest music news people from Canada, the U.S., the U.K. and Australia.

If you have IE then get a good popup stopper and for those spyware get Spybot and use the "immunize" feature.

Don't worry. Most popups are innocent.

I hope she gets better. She is getting pretty old. I wonder if her singing is what it used to be. Jackie DeShannon is about the same age and she sounded fine a couple yrs ago. I'm not as old as either of them but I still sing as well as ever.

No pop-ups here either. Firefox has a built in blocker. I've been using it for so long, I've almost forgotten pop-ups even exist!!

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
